- This goes for all the iphones 3, 4, 5, 6, 6s, Plus, etc. If your iphone is experiencing the no signal or constantly searching issue try these steps before going to your mobile carrier as you may be wasting your time or have them do the same steps in this video. Make sure you do every step as sometimes a combination of these steps will get you a solid signal to your carrier. I hope this video is helpful for you and if so please subscribe.
If none of these options worked you may want to look into your APN settings. If you still need assistance please let me know.

WOW. THIS WORKED within five minutes and my iphone was back up. My iphone died and just stopped working for no reason with a continuous searching signal. I went to the verizon store and THREE APPLE stores in NYC, including the 24 hour Apple store, which is pure madness anytime of the day. I waited FOUR hours on a waitlist apppointment, only to be told I should return in two days so they could download all my iphone data to a hard drive...I did a youtube search and found this video. THank you...This worked within minutes.. Tried a couple of your suggestions and then the resetting network settings option worked immediately...THank you for saving me alot of time and money. Apple wanted me to spend over 1k to buy a MAc to download all my data before doing a reset. Excellent post. Please provide more posts for iphones and ipad, especially best way to save your photos and free up space besides itunes

OK so listen I’ve been having this issue for a few months now on my iPhone 7 and I’ve had it for over a year I guess I would say if you have tried everything including taking the SIM card out and putting it back in and also resetting a bunch of times. If that doesn’t work there is one thing that I found that really does and I don’t know why maybe something is loose inside of the newer devices or they’re just not made the same as they used to be, but hit the back of it pretty hard I mean you don’t want to damage it but hit it hard on your hand or even on your knee cap or something try on the back and the front but be especially careful on the screen side if you don’t start seeing service then it’s probably something else, but my phone always says no service and I really don’t abuse it or anything but maybe just from use something comes loose in the SIM card area? Not sure? Anyway this is THE only fix I’ve found to work on my phone for this issue I wouldn’t doubt it’s the same for anyone else! Thought I would pass on my knowledge because I had this issue and didn’t figure it out for three weeks until one day I just started kind of banging on my phone to see if that would work and it really did what you know, even newer electronics start working again once beaten on... 🤦♂️😂 just please don’t break your device if this doesn’t work entirely for you. I have the iPhone 8 and it says searching or no service. Tried everything. Well actually it won't let me update it, it says I need to be connected to the internet in which I am. Didn't even have this phone for a week either.

Now it's even more messed up, it's stuck in recovery mode or the white apple logo. I tried updating it through iTunes and it just went to recovery mode/white apple logo. I can't update it or restore it now, it says The iPhone "iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (54). Its just trash now ):
Go to [ipsw.me/], download the software for your iphone, put your cell into DFU MODE, connect to itunes, hold Shift (for Windows) Alt (for Mac) button and click restore, browse your downloaded file and install. I got mine back that way!! Good luck!!

I have been struggling for an hour trying to fix my iphone 7, I tried shut down and restart my phone - not working! Take out and put back in the sim card, not working! reset the network - not working! Go on airplane mode - not working! BUT THEN I reset my network again and IT WORKS!!! see if you guys can try and do it a couple of times, it may work on your devices too!

3. Wait for a few seconds
4.try to call someone

My fix was this:
1. Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Roaming
2. Turn Voice Roaming off, turn Data Roaming off, turn International CDMA off.
3. Turn Voice Roaming on, turn Data Roaming on, turn International CDMA on.
That fixed it. I got solid dots and made a phone call.

Attention people...I did everything to my phone ...last resort was that I removed my phone case...and bam the network came...for 2 days had no service thing on my phone...and when I removed the new thick case the antenna responded ....hope it will help sumone one day😊

Mine was SOS only! This occurred 24 hours after latest IOS update.
I turned the phone off, removed the SIM, inspected it, could not find anything , replaces SIM & turned phone on again and PRESTO, it worked again.
Mismatch between phone & SIM card after IOS update?? The above procedure probably causes a reset between phone & SIM card! Who knows! Buggy firmware?

I had this problem and the only thing that worked and was the easiest was me turning on the airplane mode and turning it off. It’ll say searching for a few seconds and it’ll appear. Helped me a lot so thought I’d share

resetting network settings worked for me, iphone 7 model a1660. its been no service or searching for a few months now. Sometimes when i would turn the phone off and then on it will have sprint again, but would only have sprint for a few days before it went back to no service. if it goes back to no service again i will update this comment.
Edit: went back to no service in 5 hours.

My iPhone 6 after messing about dropping off the network etc, now is not working at all showing"searching" all the time.My next step is to back it up onto a McBook and reset everything to factory settings. If that does not work, I will be visiting an Apple shop with my temper contained as best I can. This is an Apple foul up of the first order and they are singularly quiet on the subject for 3 months now. This is the second phone of mine to go like this in 2 months. They had better fix it for free or I'll be taking my custom elsewhere. Been with them for years and have my second MacBook, 4th phone, 2nd iPad.
