Is there such a barrier as age between two Christians dating in their older age, for example, a 54 year old female and a 39 year old male, both divorced but seeking dating in JESUS CHRIST. Literally, I’m blown away. Not sure 🤔 that age matters after two people have already done things ‘in the world’ and now want to date to honor and please the Father. However, the world 🌍 would say that this big age difference is a bit much. Please take to the LORD and answer when He speaks to you about this. Amen 🙏

Staying pure is huge!! I found myself in a relationship with a fellow believer and when we agreed to be in a relationship and save ourselves for marriage, the sexual part started coming out on his end. I think this is really important and huge issue. Almost impossible meeting non Christians of course. Even if one made mistake in the past. I think we need to try really hard to fight over sin and live of a life of glory. The willingness!
Being 31 years old I can identify with Mel..one of the hardest thing I have had to do with the singleness season am in is to say NO to good and to wait on Godly.
This is 100% on point. One piece of advice I'd give young people of courting age is do not give away your affections until you know that person is a good match for you. Do not base your relationship on feelings. Feelings can change. Base your relationship on principles. Chemistry is important too, but don't put the cart before the horse.

Just wanted to add what qualities I looked for in a man besides loving God and having a relationship with Him: •Empathy •Integrity •Honesty •Kindness •Emotional generosity •Want the same things in life and have similar core values (God, marriage, children) So in my case, God blessed me with an amazing man who will make a great husband and father. He’s a pastor’s kid as I am, so we come from the same background, just different stories of course. At first I was hesitant to even go on a date with him because I was still healing from a breakup from a long term relationship (got cheated on), and plus he wasn’t my “type” (us women can have some unrealistic standards😂). Long story short, he’s now my boyfriend and we both serve God, and we both want the same things in life which is serve God, get married and raise a family together. Give people a chance that you normally won’t and you’ll see that they can surprise you. He was the man I prayed for. The man of your prayers is better than the man of your dreams.

Wow this video is so true... I just ended a relationship with a guy that met all of my expectations but I still didn't feel peace about it. And he wasn't a bad guy or anything but it just didn't work out. Another tip is to pray constantly and ask the Holy Spirit to give you peace over the relationship. Trust me, He will show you.

The Lord gets more n more amazing everyday as to what I can learn from me No one ever taught me about relationships growing up.i clearly remember an ex girlfriend calling our being together a "relationship ".I didnt even know they were called that. No one taught me how to be a man properly not even my Dad I'm 50 now with 2 broken families n multiple ex 's in my past and 4 grown children and 2 grandkids that I still see and live dearly I'm alone but born again and wondering is this all there is for me now? This was a powerful message. I am currently struggling with a boyfriend who meets all expectations, has respected me, showered me with love, but we are unequally yoked (he is a Christian). Although he says he wants to please God, the subject on purity (is a rough spot for him). How can someone say to love God and not understand His commandments for us children of God?
This video was very wonderful. I think as Christians we need to have a strong relationship with God and seek covering from the pastors of our local church to gain guidance and wisdom in every area of our life. And videos like this one that are firmly grounded in the truths of God add to the richness of counsel in our lives. Thank you for making this video and sharing these fundamental truths. I have always had high expectations and standards but I notice that they might not have been entirely grounded in God's word. I think that the point about knowing Christ is so critical because, as you said, it will allow us to recognize Christ in others.
The advice in this video really shocked me beyond anything. It is unlike anything I’ve ever heard. It’s crazy how many of our parents don’t even know how to give advice like this. I love this channel so much, it’s almost an oasis to come to when things feel off course. I’m at a dating season in my life right now and wow is it scary. I miss the old intro love that music lol. Great video! The equally yoked thing is huge, just because both of you are christians doesn't mean you're equally yoked. I love a girl who can quote scripture and who stays in the word. If you're talking to someone more than 10mins and they don't bring up their faith it might be a red flag. You want someone who all they talk about is their faith and Jesus. The leader thing for a guy is soooo important as well. You do see so many women choosing guys whose spiritual walk is sooo far behind theirs. Ladies you don't want to be with a guy you can't see leading you.
I totally agree!I’m currently talking with this one guy that is 2 years younger.I find myself always bringing up scripture and leading to the point I feel more spiritually mature than he is lol like the man in the relationship.We do agree on most things but I feel I bring up most of the faith based conversations.

What a timely reminder. I am in my last year of college and have been struggling with singleness for a while. Before college I told God that I would stay single and serve Him wholeheartedly until He tells me that I am ready to enter into a relationship. However, when I entered college, the temptation was real. It starts to get harder when friends around me are attached or are getting married. After listening to your testimonies and advice, it helped me to redirect my thoughts and started praying for that future husband.
Great video and I learned so much. I agree with you on all accounts. There are so many variables that play out in the dating life. And everyone is on their own journey. I told her I waa deaf n she told me she only offer friendship but no serious relationship. I was like I wonder what disabilities she had? Then I realize no love. So I walk away only has a friend. Never give up and always pray❤. Remember that before you were saved there like about (let's say) 500 women saved , then when you got saved there were now 501. Kingdom people are coming , just at a slow pace. That's the whole purpose of prayer. Pray for your future husband. Pray that if he is not saved , he will be saved soon. After many short term relationships, the Lord challenged me to not get involved emotionally before I got to know a guy as a good friend. Long story short, I soon met a wonderful man of God and have been married to him for 35 years. Purity pays off. We still enjoy a wonderful friendship and intimate relationship. I am so encouraged by your story and example. You are a great testimony to the grace of God and the wisdom of the word of God.
My dad wouldn't marry my mom without her being a Christian. If she never met him, she would've never gone back to the church and found God for herself. That bar of both knowing God and living a godly life should be standard. I want to pursue a godly man, but also to practice purity as well.

I think the problem with our generation is we value our "feeling." We have almost idolized feeling to be our guide and rule. So, if I'm a Christian and I develop a feeling for non-Christian, all my Christian principles will take a back seat and i rationalize to pursue non-Christian. I was like: I'm sure she'll convert to Christianity because of my influence. this is called "missionary dating" and it doesn't work generally. There are exceptions but not worth taking that risk. So many divorces happen down the road because of religious differences - especially once children are born.
As a single mom I learned a lot from this video at 24! Thank you. ❤❤ I've always had trouble with dating unbelievers. I used to not care that they didn't believe in God and that I could change them but now that I see this video it helps a lot to think about who God will place in my life!

Well, that’s hard to say specifically as the Bible doesn’t have a verse on that. There may be some practical challenges with it, maturity levels, growing up in different generational norms, and physical differences, etc. So always get counsel to speak into those things and use wisdom and the Lords leading
I think you miss a thing frome Paul. Like you said; the girls loved by the man. BUT THE MEN TRUSTED BY THE GIRL. I believe both have to work on that; the girls can do a big help by giving compliments as "I really prisiate you doing this/that makes me happy/that is great" to the man to guide him. As well as the man to say "how do you feel? Is this good? Can I help?". If the girls make a list with all the small silly things she love him doing (then he got a good change by doing them more often). And another thing; the trust for the man. As Paul says and often described in the wisdoms books. Imagine a flok and a leader; if every individual strongly wants their own way the leader have no change to lead them. The same with a man! If you can't trust him, girl, to take dissensions the best way. He don't want to take them. If that continue....; dear woman, than you are going to be in charge weather you want it or not. You may guide him! You shall! And of course take decisions on your own as a strong independent woman, but let him be in charge, when it is really needed, before the point where he no responsibility has for nothing. Dear man; take respond, show her you are trustable. Say to her where you miss her trust. Help each other to make the man feel that he is trusted! Dear girl; give him responsibility. Another thing; when you both are strong by your self (like in Jesus alone) and don't need a husband, then you are ready to have a strong household to take care of your self and the other.

One time on October 15th 2022 during BOA Bands of America event, I was a videographer for Jack Britt High School marching band several months after I’ve graduated from Jack Britt class of 2022. I met a girl by a name of Abigail Taylor a member of Cary HS Color Guard whom she and I had a very good conversation. And during great conversation, she smiled a lot at me and she was a nice person. Both of us are Christian since I’m orthodox and she’s a baptist. I believe she’s 16 years old and I’m 20 years old. God permit I’ll wait till she turns 18 to date. What do you think about a man who adds a pornographic woman after the second date and another indecent one after the third one? It made me feel so insufficient. Step into Gods purpose for your life whether it’s owning a business, a creative idea, getting into ministry or simply just getting deeper into His word etc. He will take you to so many places and when you least expect it, bring you and your future spouse together in unexpected ways if marriage is a desire He’s put in your heart. 🙏🔥 it’s definitely hard but the more God is working in your heart, you will begin to desire different things in a man because He knows exactly what you need. Trust Him and your future marriage to Him and He will not disappoint.

Thank you for this video! Just wanted to add what qualities I looked for in a man besides loving God and having a relationship with Him:
•Empathy
•Integrity
•Honesty
•Kindness
•Emotional generosity
•Want the same things in life and have similar core values (God, marriage, children)
So in my case, God blessed me with an amazing man who will make a great husband and father. He’s a pastor’s kid as I am, so we come from the same background, just different stories of course. At first I was hesitant to even go on a date with him because I was still healing from a breakup from a long term relationship (got cheated on), and plus he wasn’t my “type” (us women can have some unrealistic standards😂). Long story short, he’s now my boyfriend and we both serve God, and we both want the same things in life which is serve God, get married and raise a family together. Give people a chance that you normally won’t and you’ll see that they can surprise you. He was the man I prayed for. The man of your prayers is better than the man of your dreams.

Wow this video is so true... I just ended a relationship with a guy that met all of my expectations but I still didn't feel peace about it. And he wasn't a bad guy or anything but it just didn't work out.
Another tip is to pray constantly and ask the Holy Spirit to give you peace over the relationship. Trust me, He will show you.

This was a powerful message. I am currently struggling with a boyfriend who meets all expectations, has respected me, showered me with love, but we are unequally yoked (he is a Christian). Although he says he wants to please God, the subject on purity (is a rough spot for him). How can someone say to love God and not understand His commandments for us children of God?
This video was very wonderful. I think as Christians we need to have a strong relationship with God and seek covering from the pastors of our local church to gain guidance and wisdom in every area of our life. And videos like this one that are firmly grounded in the truths of God add to the richness of counsel in our lives. Thank you for making this video and sharing these fundamental truths. I have always had high expectations and standards but I notice that they might not have been entirely grounded in God's word. I think that the point about knowing Christ is so critical because, as you said, it will allow us to recognize Christ in others.
The advice in this video really shocked me beyond anything. It is unlike anything I’ve ever heard. It’s crazy how many of our parents don’t even know how to give advice like this. I love this channel so much, it’s almost an oasis to come to when things feel off course. I’m at a dating season in my life right now and wow is it scary. I miss the old intro love that music lol. Great video! The equally yoked thing is huge, just because both of you are christians doesn't mean you're equally yoked. I love a girl who can quote scripture and who stays in the word. If you're talking to someone more than 10mins and they don't bring up their faith it might be a red flag. You want someone who all they talk about is their faith and Jesus. The leader thing for a guy is soooo important as well. You do see so many women choosing guys whose spiritual walk is sooo far behind theirs. Ladies you don't want to be with a guy you can't see leading you.

What a timely reminder. I am in my last year of college and have been struggling with singleness for a while. Before college I told God that I would stay single and serve Him wholeheartedly until He tells me that I am ready to enter into a relationship. However, when I entered college, the temptation was real. It starts to get harder when friends around me are attached or are getting married. After listening to your testimonies and advice, it helped me to redirect my thoughts and started praying for that future husband.
Great video and I learned so much. I agree with you on all accounts. There are so many variables that play out in the dating life. And everyone is on their own journey. I just seek basic friendship first. Then go from there. And that is what dating is for. It is to learn and grow. I just need to embrace this season of my life. Thanks for sharing.

I told her I waa deaf n she told me she only offer friendship but no serious relationship. I was like I wonder what disabilities she had? Then I realize no love. So I walk away only has a friend. After many short term relationships, the Lord challenged me to not get involved emotionally before I got to know a guy as a good friend. Long story short, I soon met a wonderful man of God and have been married to him for 35 years. Purity pays off. We still enjoy a wonderful friendship and intimate relationship. I am so encouraged by your story and example. You are a great testimony to the grace of God and the wisdom of the word of God.
My dad wouldn't marry my mom without her being a Christian. If she never met him, she would've never gone back to the church and found God for herself. That bar of both knowing God and living a godly life should be standard. I want to pursue a godly man, but also to practice purity as well.

I think the problem with our generation is we value our "feeling." We have almost idolized feeling to be our guide and rule. So, if I'm a Christian and I develop a feeling for non-Christian, all my Christian principles will take a back seat and i rationalize to pursue non-Christian. I was like: I'm sure she'll convert to Christianity because of my influence. this is called "missionary dating" and it doesn't work generally. There are exceptions but not worth taking that risk. So many divorces happen down the road because of religious differences - especially once children are born.
As a single mom I learned a lot from this video at 24! Thank you. ❤❤ I've always had trouble with dating unbelievers. I used to not care that they didn't believe in God and that I could change them but now that I see this video it helps a lot to think about who God will place in my life!

Well, that’s hard to say specifically as the Bible doesn’t have a verse on that. There may be some practical challenges with it, maturity levels, growing up in different generational norms, and physical differences, etc. So always get counsel to speak into those things and use wisdom and the Lords leading

I think you miss a thing frome Paul. Like you said; the girls loved by the man. BUT THE MEN TRUSTED BY THE GIRL.
I believe both have to work on that; the girls can do a big help by giving compliments as "I really prisiate you doing this/that makes me happy/that is great" to the man to guide him. As well as the man to say "how do you feel? Is this good? Can I help?". If the girls make a list with all the small silly things she love him doing (then he got a good change by doing them more often).
And another thing; the trust for the man. As Paul says and often described in the wisdoms books. Imagine a flok and a leader; if every individual strongly wants their own way the leader have no change to lead them. The same with a man! If you can't trust him, girl, to take dissensions the best way. He don't want to take them. If that continue....; dear woman, than you are going to be in charge weather you want it or not. You may guide him! You shall! And of course take decisions on your own as a strong independent woman, but let him be in charge, when it is really needed, before the point where he no responsibility has for nothing. Dear man; take respond, show her you are trustable. Say to her where you miss her trust.
Help each other to make the man feel that he is trusted! Dear girl; give him responsibility.
Another thing; when you both are strong by your self (like in Jesus alone) and don't need a husband, then you are ready to have a strong household to take care of your self and the other.

One time on October 15th 2022 during BOA Bands of America event, I was a videographer for Jack Britt High School marching band several months after I’ve graduated from Jack Britt class of 2022.
I met a girl by a name of Abigail Taylor a member of Cary HS Color Guard whom she and I had a very good conversation. And during great conversation, she smiled a lot at me and she was a nice person. Both of us are Christian since I’m orthodox and she’s a baptist.
I believe she’s 16 years old and I’m 20 years old. God permit I’ll wait till she turns 18 to date.

What do you think about a man who adds a pornographic woman after the second date and another indecent one after the third one? It made me feel so insufficient. Also, he said it is normal to look at women and to say that a certain woman is cute, that is like looking at a house. I was not able to trust him at all, was I paranoia?
