Honestly I feel like Freddie put up with a lot from both Sam and Carly, he was never fully appreciated by either of them he probably spent a lot of his own money on equipment and props for the show, sam always was giving him a hard time and Carly never once stood up for him, honestly he should’ve ditched them both a long time ago
carly actually has stood up and sided whith Freddie throughout the seasons. it's not as noticeable in the later season though.

Its not really a reboot. Its more a sequel, made for the generation that watched iCarly as kids and now grewd up. Like Freddie now has a stepdaughter which means that maybe he's in a relationship with someone.
