@@natespec oh damn, well I'm planning on doing the same for my IS300 but I'm using xcessive manufacturing seat brackets because they claim to sit the Lowest, I'm 6.7 and I need more headroom and I really like the car
@@natespec I'm looking at your video again and your using planted seat brackets, they seem to sit higher than stock brackets, I recommend trying xcessive brackets. I can send you a link if your interested
@@carlbrooks90 that are actually plm brackets but look to be very similar to planted. I sold the seat, I will look into those brackets if I decide to throw one back in , I appreciate it!
@@natespec I'm about 6'2 and with the oem seats my shoulders goes slightly past the B pillars. Is it the shoulder blustering that might interfere with the B pillars?
Just watched this again and its agood asmr video. I gotta post it to my page lol
Such a gem for the ones looking this up
Actually pretty clean 🔥
What happened with the seat belt plug? How did you reconnect?
Left it unplugged
Do you sit lower with the new seat?
Not so much after adding the slider. I switched back to stock because of that reason

How much space is there to the side pillar? I'm looking at a Evo xl but I'm not sure if till fit our cars
Hardly any space even with this seat. The xL wil forsure hit the door panels/B pillar

Yup I believe it will. If you have it far enough back the shoulders of the seat may sit in the opening of the rear window
