My dad, Ronnie Blackstone, (rest his soul), had a throaty voice, too! Your voice reminds me quite a bit of his. When my dad's band, RONNIE & THE RASCALS, opened for Sonny & Cher in 1968 at Clowes Hall - Indianapolis, Cher put her arms around my dad and told him, "you are the best rhythm and blues singer I've ever heard!" He didn't get far in the business for certain reasons, but, regardless, he had "the voice"! Keep up the good work! I wish you much success! Thank you for sharing! 💙
