Godfrey is probably the most widely embraced & loved African Celeb in The US. He represents friendship between FBA & Africans in general. I don't think they want that concept to exist. Not in the world media that everyone sees all day.
Godfrey is hilarious. Every time I’ve seen him it’s new, funny, and you learn some history too. Dapped him up at the comedy cellar a year or so ago. This guy deserves so much
Yeah , he’s definitely very knowledgeable and drops gems. I saw another interview where mentioned that the term, “barrel of laughs” came from the slavery era. Blacks were not allowed to look too happy, so to mask any laughter they had to laugh inside a barrel.

Maybe that is why Africa's commodities are still leaving the continent. You put Americans on a pedestal . How many countries has the USA army invaded? Hopefully you migrate to America because we;re trying to raise Africans that will love our continent and look up to Africans. How do we even discuss the macro economics of Africa when Africans are worshipping America. The reason British and Australian actors (of all races) dominate Hollywood is because there’s no stigma in those countries of a man or boy taking drama classes. So you get tough guys like Idris Elba, Chris Hemsworth or Daniel Craig who learn acting and hone their craft from childhood. But in America, taking drama classes is considered feminine, so only feminine men take those classes (like Timothy Chalemet) and so you don’t have a lot of American alpha males in Hollywood.

I had a 19yo Iraqi interpreter in 2007. His dream was to come to America to be a gangster rapper. You couldn't tell that lil crazy kid that he wasn't Lil Wayne. He said his first stop would be the Magnolia. Lmao. Good kid man.
This is a one sided, toxic dialog. There are African Americans who look down on Africans, and there are Africans who look down on African Americans. There are also Africans who love African Americans, and there are African Americans who love Africans. You see what you want to see. If you want to focus on the negative, you will see the negative.
Negative people will focus on the negative. Positive people will focus on the positive. That is life. I saw an AA commentor replying to an African that he came from a failed society. 😅 Obviously most African Americans have not traveled to any of the African countries. 😊 I have.
Come to Africa. You'll see how much you're loved .You guys got a very rich well blended culture . It has eveything in it that adds taste and flavor to everything .
It is envy. And fear of our power. And not some mystical magical power We create cultural power. Got the entire internet (the world) doing 15 second dances.
As a African American everytime I came across African’s I always felt like my presence bothered them. I would go out of my way to talk to them and I’m a introverted person I would go out of my way to speak to them because I thought we would have some type of special tribal connection with each other lol😂 .Honestly Most African Americans think that way which is why we end up hurt we realize that’s not the case.

I was recently vacationing in the Bahamas and the topic of Africans hating African Americans came up during a guided tour. Our tour guide said he was told by a group of Africans visiting there in the past that it just seems like Africans hate African Americans because Africans are so confident and their confidence just gets mistaken for hate. It was a load of BS. What, do they think confidence is something foreign to African Americans? To say the least, I have literally referred to some Africans as "brother' just as I would refer to fellow African Americans and they would reply with "you are not my brother" in a very offended and dismissive manner. I guess it was just that African confidence. It's cool at the end of the day. I do have my own siblings as brothers and they are pretty awesome so I'm good.
@parkside4623 You are forcing your lingo on Africans. Don’t get offended everyone has their beliefs and just cause they look like you doesn’t mean they talk like you. French do the same to other white countries relax it’s not about blacks.

This is funny, honest and very transparent. I applaud you Godfrey you got it out the dirt Man! A real inspiration!
Godfrey is speaking nothing but facts. 💯
I had a 19yo Iraqi interpreter in 2007. His dream was to come to America to be a gangster rapper. You couldn't tell that lil crazy kid that he wasn't Lil Wayne. He said his first stop would be the Magnolia. Lmao. Good kid man.
😂😂😂😂
This is a one sided, toxic dialog. There are African Americans who look down on Africans, and there are Africans who look down on African Americans. There are also Africans who love African Americans, and there are African Americans who love Africans. You see what you want to see. If you want to focus on the negative, you will see the negative.
Negative people will focus on the negative.
Positive people will focus on the positive.
That is life.
I saw an AA commentor replying to an African that he came from a failed society. 😅
Obviously most African Americans have not traveled to any of the African countries. 😊
I have.
Exactly. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Not all Africans hate African Americans but all African Americans hate Africans
Word!
Exactly
Corey Holcomb going to have something to say about this😂😂😂😂😂
Come to Africa. You'll see how much you're loved .You guys got a very rich well blended culture . It has eveything in it that adds taste and flavor to everything .
You weren’t robbed because you were African American, you were robbed cause you had money .
Tell this to your family. I'm sure you have aunts and uncles that don't like African Americans.
Yep im living in Senegal as an African American. I love both sides ❤❤❤
This is why we're hated. I keep saying it's nothing but envy.
This comment is part of the problem
It is envy. And fear of our power. And not some mystical magical power
We create cultural power. Got the entire internet (the world) doing 15 second dances.
envy of what? let me laugh😂😂😂
@@yolo._96 envy of originality
Envy of what? Nobody know who are you. people dont look at a society people look at a person and you are no mike tyson.
people need to learn the difference between RACE, NATIONALITY and ETHNICITY!!!
AMEN…race being the LEAST of the 3!
True. I always tell people "there are no european blacks, they're just africans". Glad we agree though.

@@Ap_twsh There must be a language barrier here. This reply doesn’t have to do with anything I said.
