Did you actually watch the show? Season 1 was good. Not better than the original but good. The story the magic all of it. Actually watch it instead of listening to other people you’d be surprised. It started going down hill season 2 then Covid happened

They explain later that because she wasn't hurt by evil that he can't heal her. But it's not really consistent later in the series
