  • This circuitry is repeated in most simple crystal radios. Having one set up like this allows you to check your coils quickly and easily, and try new designs eliminating many jumper wires normally used.

    good idea. i did the same with a small block of wood, but has no var cap. SAVES time so much time when making coil.
