Yes! The guided run with coach Bennett was a game changer for me as well. I had been using the app to run since 2015 but when I finally started using the guided runs everything changed. That's how I finally got to 3.1 miles consistently without stopping (by 2018). Small but that was huge for me. I fell off but I'm starting back up again. Let's see if I can be like you and get to 6 miles this time🥴😅.
Nice video. I use the Nike run app too. Im 50 yrs old. Last year i trained to run my 1st ever 5k Turkey trot! After that personal milestone, I seemed to peak at the 3mile range and couldn’t go any further. I’m gonna try the guided runs you talk about. Any suggestions?
I use the Nike Running app, but i just start. You gave me ideas, so I am going to look into the other things the app can do. I used to run a lot and completed 2 marathons. I stopped when i was going to school, but i'm trying to get back into it. Last week I had a goal of 15 miles but only did about miles. Great job in getting back into it. Hope to hear more about your runs.
I signed up to use this app in 2016 because the app was a suggestion on my Apple Watch watch app. I never actually used the app. My brother has used the app in the past when he was home for two week visiting in the summer for 2017. My mom wants my other brother to get into running. So he told me I should go out running since mom is making him. So I thought I would try the Nike run club app. I want to get into running and eventually do a 5k run.
My max is 1mile per day after my workouts and I’m always dying at the end I’m going to give this app a try I need to get better lol thx for the vid 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
I like using both!!! When i’m not running in my neighborhood i bring my phone & watch. The phone seems to override the watch and picks up the tracking information. Its nice to have my heart rate attaches to the split as well to see how my heart over time can handle more intense runs. I do have to say i recommend if you do only use the watch to download your playlist onto the watch and download the guided run you will be using on the watch prior to running. The watch & phone will cut out if you don’t bring your phone without downloading.
I can see how the NIKE app can keep one encouraged to run and reach a personal goal. But I know I am not lying to myself when telling myself my old body is not going to survive any amount of running. 🙂
Hi there! Any ideas, ( ones who are using it) why on earth my NRC app is changing its details on screen from time to time whilst running? After like 1,5kms it randomly changes from distance to calories, or heart-rate etc.... Also randomly auto pauses ( Yes, it is set to NO auto-pause) It is sooo freaking annoying. Anyone with the same issue, and any remedy? Thanks. lot!
@@byBriannaStone Unfortunately my old heart would never survive running. I have to stick with walking, and even that can be a challenge on any given day. 🙂
Am doing a challenge of 200 miles .. I was at 84 miles so I decided to 10 miles in the nxt morning I did 10 miles but in the challenge it gave an extra 10 miles with a total of 104 miles which I was shock because it suppose to be 94 ... have this ever happen to any of you and any recommendations?

Great video! The NRC app is great, and the guided runs with coach Bennett are really good to help keep you consistent.
Totally agree!
I'm doing a 75 mile challenge right now with some people on that app. I love it!

I really like using the distance based runs during my actual races! 😊
6 Miles? I 'm also a sprinter and 400m leave me dying. Imma definitely make use of the Fartlek feature. I really appreciate this video.
I wish I had friends to “compete” in the app lol
You can compete against other people with the app that you don’t know in their challenges
Me too

Is the Apple Watch app initutivr enough to use on its own or do you prefer to use the iPhone app?

Those are great looking running shoes. The price seems very reasonable for what they are. Good job. 💙
Thank you!
