I fitted this last night. Nice bit of kit, and quite easy to do. No way were those screws "self tapping", though. Perhaps it's the build quality of the T6.1 but, I needed to drill guide holes, first. It was all very simple, though and took only forty minutes and that includes ten minutes of interspousal arguing. 😉

    Thank you.
I was able to get the local guys to fit my tails for both sides.
Without any warning, they watched your video and q hr 20 minutes later I left with the amazing rails attached and only 1 hour of work. Took 2 guys who have never fitted one of these under 1 hour to fit both rails :)
Thank you for this video making it so easy for them and me to see what is done :)

Bought one of these on EBay for my SWB T5 but they use one of the worst courier service providers going XDP, 10 days after ordering and it’s stuck at collection Depot and XDP think it might be lost.

Hi. I am in Australia and cannot find anything like this and have an ex Ambo Sprinter which will cost at least $2000 to fit a hard case awning to with roof rails, brackets and awning! Saw this product and it looks amazing. Can you please post one to Australia as soon as it is back in stock?

How do these go in the wind? Any better than a side awning or one attached to roof racks?
    Cheers from Australia.

Hey There, These are fine in the wind as they are screwed into the van! You'd need some pretty darn hectic wind to get this off haha! All the best, S+S

Why not put the dab of adhesive over the holes before the first fitment?

Might be helpful if you said what sort of gap should be below the rail. Ive got one to fit but am just guessing although other rails specify 5mm from the sliding door seal

Hi, These are great if you have a pop top installed and are struggling for room on the roof, They also allow you to fit a wind out style awning.
