      @@SpaceGhostMars94 It's not really chewy, that syrup hardens with time... The corn starch does dissolve a little in your mouth... It's not extremely sweet either because of that corn starch...

      @@Avocado-zf2pw ya they are different but the making process is almost same in sonpapdi sugar is melted then it is cooled and then they add a mixture of besan and pull it then the strings come out then it is settled and there you have sonpapdi

    In India 🇮🇳 we also use this method to make soan papdi it is a traditional sweet known in Indian ..... But not this exact ingredients 😁..........     For those who haven't tried this before, this candy taste really good. Once you put it in your mouth, it will be melted. But i personally not like it very much because too much sugar....

    In Turkey we call it Pişmaniye. Pişman means full og regret. We have a saying about the candy that goes those who eat it will regret it (because it's so messy to eat) and so will those who do not eat it(because it's yummy)

    It's made quite differently. You don't actually use cornstarch. If you watch the traditional process it's just pulling extremely hot taffy basically.

    There is a Korean candy similar to that which is peanuts wrapped in fermented honey pulled through cornstarch into strings it’s really delicious and when fresh tastes like peanut butter
