Started disc golfing in 2013, found jomez in 2015. Regardless of how they preform, seeing Ricky and Paul on jomez feels like home. You guys have been such a big part of cultivating the culture of the community in the sport through your content and commentary.
HomezPro
couldn't agree more.
100% agree. It’s always exciting to watch the guys play that made me fall in love with watching coverage
@@Imunality underrated comment.
Nice comment
That shot on 9 was definitely a scoober.
Ricky Wysocki breathes
"WOOooo!"
8:37 Gannon filming? He can really do it all
Happy to see the course designer featured in the preview instead of one of the players. Amazing course --a special kind of brutal.
I think it would be cool to see more course designers and even like a vlog of someone going to an area and building a full course and how to go about doing it. There is one course in our area but alot of parks and open land that could have amazing courses but how to go about putting them in is beyond me.
Waiting for AB to finally put it all together and take one of these down. Kid has all the talent in the world.
It doesn’t even make sense to me how AB can throw the disc as far as he can. It’s truly amazing to watch him.
@@lNTERESTlNG I agree w both y’all it always looks like he throws 50% and they’re always screamin. If he can smooth out a couple little things he’s gonna be lethal
I can see Ab and Gannon pulling well away from the field in seasons to come. I am always pulling for AB.
Yes, but in the meantime we get the epic last round AB meltdowns. Reminds me of early Mickleson. Never gets old.
Ab always has the best drive. But he loses because he cant put. Puts like old Kona panis. Drive 4 show put for dough.
As a lifelong ultimate player, Gannon absolutely threw a scoober there.
What a dream card! 2 top, well seasoned veterans, and 2 top, up and coming prospects…1 gruelling course. Awesome 👏
8:36 Gannon analyzing Rickys form like
Dang it’s nice to finally see Paul on the coverage main card. Been a little while I think. I’m going ahead and calling Ricky to win, dudes putt is on point yesterday and hopefully Today
I love this course. And the way you guys capture it where we get to see the pure shots...it's a true pleasure. The commentary is just gravy on the biscuits. Thank you guys for all you do!
Thanks JomezPro for the coverage and all you do for this sport. And thanks Jerm, Nate and Paul for the commentary. I love this channel!
Already watched once…came back to see Gannon filming on hole 2 🤣
I don’t get it…
8:36
37:58 "if you're at home... you're never making that shot" lol!!! so true
I can't describe how much I love the term, "frisbyterians". If Jomez makes it into a shirt then I'll buy 8.
Hell of a lead card. Thanks for the awesome coverage and commentary
Thanks for another great round of coverage, you guys are on fire.
I love this card. Old guard versus new school.
LMFAO "Well, MY name is Nate...HE'S Paul. And this is also Paul, and I know that can be confusing..." Nate you are my favorite person, possibly ever, I'm deaddd laughing rn hahaha. SO SO good to have you back in the booth! We missed you!
My 4 favorite players on the card let’s goo! Gannon is my favorite cause I’m from Iowa so he’s a local.
Love these tough courses! Great coverage
Thank you guys again should be fun to watch
Great interview with Kip! I love these features with the course designers and tournament directors.
Thank you team Jomez. 🙏
As much as I agree with playing northwoods black to test the players I love the eureka temp course so much. My favorite course in dg. Hopefully one day I can play it
I love how disc golf is the only sport where a commentator has the power to curse someone AFTER their round lol
This has to be Rickys favorite course. It's my favorite style wooded with clear lines half grass half dirt. Too long for me though.
It’s about time I get to see some Richard Wysocki!!!
What a great transition from the course designer preview to hole 1👏👏👏
Great edit Jomez! Not having to skip through each players pre-throw routine is awesome!
Great coverage as always Jomez, the only disc golf channel I'm subscribed to.
Must feel weird saying that Mcbeth is a 'old player' or 'old guard' at only 32. He's younger than all 3 of you (Nate, Jerm & Berry) LOL
Younger than me but had been playing longer!
I wish another "old guard" player would win one. Philo was saying Matty O has never won elite series or a major. And he's so freaking good, I can't believe he's never won one
I think he’s referring to him as an old guard because a lot of the time sports players retire in their early to mid 30’s
@@goaliepro6887 Thats the awesome thing about disc golf and regular golf. it can be played until you cant walk anymore as its not contact and not as hard on the body unless you trow 500ft forehands.
39:25 that calm debate about scoober or no, so funny. A lot of words and vernacular thrown around, but it’s a simple answer. Coming from a 24 yr ultimate player, it’s a scoober. Thanks Papa Nate for your voice of reason, referencing Ultimate and putting the debate to rest :)
Great, Ricky on the card
*mutes video*
Always great stuff from you guys!
One tiny request is to put all the discs that the players use for each shot. I know its tough to do, but that would be awesome! Keep up the good stuff!
0:04 Ron Jeremy, huge fan of discgolf
Yes! Good Morning Jomez Pro!
I've been waiting for this video. It's sooo good! Keep up the great work!
Randomly looked up jomez and I found a brand new post!
Watching at 6am in South Korea
Paul, that's 100% a scoober!
I love how Uli and Jerm argue about semantics and other useless crap and Nate just sits there, probably rolling his eyes and waiting for them to get tired so he can go back to commentating. :D
I live close to morton. Love this course. Freakin tough.
Haven't seen McBeth and Wysocki on the same card in awhile🔥
North woods black is a hell of a course very entertaining to watch the best in the world play it
THE BEST LEAD CARD THIS YEAR!!
Thank you, JomezPro - excellent as always.
I am confused, however. We have the highly functional and distinct phrases "turn" and "fade" to describe flight shape. And yet now we're hearing commentators use the word "drift". But they're using it to describe both left and right movements - which is just plain silly.
Hole 5, possibly have two landing zones, the present early one at around 260', and a one about 70' to 100' longer which would have a direct and easier line to the basket.
Man, i'm missing my paul fix from early in the year. Hopefully he can bring it together and win some upcoming tourneys.
Buhr behind the camera on two is hilarious. HILARIOUS.
Nate and Paul are correct here. 100% a scoober. A scoober is an upside down forehand grip, with the release on the opposite side of the body from the throwing arm.
Wait, at 8:37 is that a Jomez camera that Buhr’s operating?
shoutout Brent Hambrick Memorial! born and raised in Westerville, that’s my home course!
Nice to see Ricky & Anthony on their game (of course the young man too)… Bummed Paul’s not really in the fight at the moment but great work from the other 3.
To touch on the diminishing midrange disc use. I think a lot of players have gravitated towards some type of putter as a midrange. Also, the approach disc-game has exponentially increased with the harp, tactic, toro etc. Players have gravitated away from the midrange, and they seem to course specific in a game that is moving into a distance contest at times.
If you want more courses in your area, pay particular attention to what Kip says at 3:20. That is thousands of man hours for ONE HOLE! As someone who is building a course on my own property to be open to the public, this has also been my experience. Daily work adding up to more hours than can be counted.
If you find out that a course is being built in your area, please find a way to work/volunteer. Even a few hours of clearing brush goes further than you can imagine.
Welcome back, Ricky!
I use the Ricky high Annie scramble 4hand shot alot too
Love the discussion on courses now requiring full power shots off the tee and the decreased role of mids in Uli, Jerm, and Sexton's bags.
Also, how tall is Gannon? Halfway between Shaq and Steph is still pretty tall!
Right?? Gannon is like 6'6"?? I knew he is tall and lanky, but not THAT tall!
Ricky doing Ricky stuff is like 🤩😶🌫️🤪
what baskets are these? Havent seem them before . Im guessing by the top theyre in the mach lineup? Also if anyone has used them what do they think. It kinda reminds me of the cross chains in prodigy baskets but not as heavy duty so likely to catch more and not have as many spitouts when hitting dead center.
Mach X. And they are worlds better than the Mach7 or earlier models
Holy hell I haven’t payed attention to y’all’s sub count. Just hit 400k!!! Congrats y’all! I’ve been subscribed since ~80k
I am with Jerm. That was not a scoober!😂
Paul rlly been on a downward spiral this season besides breaking that course record, dude is not on his normal game. I hope to see him on podium more often but also it shows how the sport is evolving and making way for younger players. He’s still amazing
I can't believe Jerm still doesn't know what a scoober is.
The drone flyover music sounds like it could be horror ice-cream truck music.
8:37 Gannon on the cam duties lol.
Yeah I'm sad about midranges being thrown less;( They are so much fun to throw
"I Munch on Birdies bro" Best comment Uli!!
This card is the present and future of disc golf.
new Innova disc? the "Firedbird" at 13:18
Is Buhr filming for Jomez on the side? Mad hustler
Which video is it where this music played for the first time?
Yesssss!
Was Gannon working the camera on Ricky’s tee shot on hole 2?
I munch on birdies bro!!… Frisbitarian!?
I don't want to jinx him, but AB seems like he has found that middle ground between ultimate power and touch a well as his putting. Scary thought.
That was definitely a scoober
I love the Rick Flair boys rooting for Wysocki. Cute
Okay, hole two, Ricky's drive, is that Gannon working the camera???
Did you see Gannon on the camera on Ricky's drive on hole 2. Getting a close look at Ricky's shot.
disc golf network did not have the first 8 or 9 holes of round-3 on "live" coverage for some strange reason?? and NO explanation from them either!? you have to communicate with your paying customers if you are having technical problems
They did explain. No cell coverage in that part of the course.
Buhr the camera man
It would be cool to have the disc selection on every shot. Not just the drives or sporadic shots. It’s a bummer like that’s where the disc selection can really make a difference.
Was that Ron Jeremy in the crowd opening? 😂
Ricky had the exact same tee shot on hole one yesterday. Makes me think he's not missing those trees by a hair on accident. Either that or he got lucky twice, the world may never know..
Might be the edit but looks like Gannon has picked up his pace of play. Good adjustment by the youngster
Need more courses like these in big tourneys. I feel like in every tourney they should play 2 courses one being a bit more open and the other a hard wooded course. I love the bomber golf courses but they seem to be getting a bit to easy for these guys shooting like 30 down or more in a tourney. I want to see some super hard courses where par is pretty good and like -4 is amazing. Of course we dont want a ton of them but hard course are need much more with the skill of the field increasing.
13:18 "Innova Luster Firedbird" 😅
Paul is missing his old Nova. He needs a disc dead neutral so he can carve his lines. Seems like his disc Hyser out early or he overturns it trying to compensate for the stability.
8:37 lol Gannon operating the camera wat?
I missed that. Talented guy is that Gannon
Looks like he was giving the guy a break so he could text 😆
13:20 looks like the bird got sacked 😛
Gannon on the camera hole 2 😂😂😂
unquestionably a scoober
I saw AB play a tournament in Phoenix at vista del Camino and he threw a 400 foot forehand 6 inches off the ground the hole time
Lets go!
What is Gannon doing manning the camera at 8:38?
Anyone else see Gannon filming Ricky's shot on hole 2 lol.
“Have to drift the putter 250” meanest trash talk I’ve heard
the dude in the middle at the very beginning looks like a you and healthy Ron Jeremy lol
