I just bought the Marantz PM10 a month ago. All I can say is: this unit sounds way better than my $20,000 separate (amp + pre-amp) solution. I don't want to go into much detail about the brand name of my separate. Needless to say, I am selling my separate right now and keep the PM-10. It is truly good. The sound signature of the Marantz is pretty much neutral with a tiny bit of warm. Every thing is clear and transparent. The bass is tighter than my separate and the high is a little bit sweeter. Hope that help the rest of you guys
I own a PM10, it’s an absolutely amazing amp. Just found out that you can bi-amp two PM10’s effectively having a separate amp driving the low’s and high’s from each speaker. That’s truly an amazing feature!! Wow
Assuming that I don't havy any interest in CD or SACD, i have a marantz 8015 to use as pre amp, and I found an interesting offer for a sealed PM KI RUBY (for only $2500) I could use the 8015 as stereo pre amp and the PM KI RUBY as stereo power amp??? Or the PM KI RUBY must be used only with the SA KI RUBY as dac?
I just bought a used PM-10S1 and it is great but my two big complaints that I notice are on the PM 10 as well are the only one pair of outputs, so If you want to run a subwoofer and a separate amp for a second set of speakers, you would need to get a Y adaptor :( . The volume knob takes so much turning to increase or decrease the volume. It is like 8 turns from 0 to full volume. That is annoying....
Just enjoy your music 🎶 you don't need a sub woofer get the right speaker's audition the Bower & Wilkins there's a pair that will compliment your set up or the Monitor audio 300G😊
I see no reasons for the overprice in Stereo. I have heard very expensive Speakers connected to a Yamaha CX-A5100 and an even more expensive Macintosh. In Stereo ("pure direct") I checked it with 4 friends in a blind test. Hear absolute no difference between those two. Both sound very good. The Marantz is nicely build though. But I don't understand why in this pricerange they still do those plastic cheecks left and right.

what no dolby atmos or even Lucasfilm THX for £3 grand I'd throw that crap into the cat litter! DAYLIGHT ROBBERY at £3grand that will end up on landfill site in few years.
Yeah I’m broke because I don’t have $8K to spend on something that probably doesn’t make that much of a difference at all. High end audio is a lot of smoke and mirrors.

Please show us, I cant get enough of this amplifier!

Do you hear a small click in the speakers after turning it on? (after 20 seconds)

Nope
Wait, I’m confused so I need to purchase two of these units to BiAmp ?
I thought you can biamp and switch it on the rear of the unit
Another fantastic video Shane! I truly appreciate your work!
this vs PM-KI Ruby?
I would love to have this in my 2 channel setup!

I have naim 252 preamp and nap 300dr and i am looking at the pm 10 to cut back on my boxes is this a good option over my current system.

I have a marantz ruby amp, and that's my complaints as well. Why can't they make adding a sub simple?

While its analog, isn’t it using a switching powersupply? And isn’t it using ncore modules?

Sparechange can you do a review Samsang Soundbar HW-N850/ZA or HW N950/ZA. I would like to hear your professional review
My I ask what projector & screen do you use
He always puts it in the description...
Yike! That is so expensive like McIntosh! At least, it would be good for my Oppo 205.
@@goahead3995 what happen to your oppo 205?

By the way you set the box down I can tell you have worked for UPS at some point in your life! Be gentle...:)
This is a digital amplifier, isn't it? That is why it is so expensive?
Build quality, sound quality, components.

Very fancy
It's not to shabby.
I only have one word...AVENTAGE..
awesome :)

Andy Summers eh? It’s a stereo amp?!
This isn’t for home theater. It’s purely for music.
LOL can't differentiate stereo amplifier & av receiver
LOL bonehead. It is a 2 channel integrated amp for music. Not a surround sound processor...
8 GRAND?! NO THANKS!
I will put on my wish list for Xmas. NOT!!! I am pretty sure my wife has been talking to Santa already.
This would sound awesome paired with some Def Techs 😁
SpareChange Yes it would, Yes it would.
@@therealshanelee Def Techs...? Ummm, not for music bro...
There's some context for me saying that to him
@@therealshanelee ok, but i would love to know how that beast performs in a two channel listening session with some good speakers and player...
Waste of money.
LOL - sounds like somebody is a broke ass that can't afford this.

Its excellent ...dont criticize if you are not able to buy it
