When I first watched Lab, I thought that the choreography reminded me of Quest Crew. I looked into it and realized that D-Trix was the choreographer. I have to say that your choreography is pretty iconic.

Ew. I mean, the dancers are phenomenal. The Lab is absolutely incredible and 100% deserving. But the cuts to the judges, cutting dancers and groups from airing because of time slots - dispite being good enough to make it in the competition - cutting important featurettes, and sometimes shoddy camera directing, all make WOD difficult to watch. I wish this whole process could have functioned with strong SYTYCD and/or ABDC influence, with no breaks from the action and/or key slowmo footage of critical bits AFTER the fact. Neither should the show have aired without honoring a live spot for each qualified dancer. I'm proud and honored for the new Champs, but until WOD gets its directing down, I don't want to support WOD by watching live.
@@gabriusv I totally agree for example they eliminated Sean and kaycee against charity and andres because charity and andres did big tricks and loud performances that felt more like acrobatic than dance, whereas Sean and kaycee where more about pure dancing and telling a story and they also tried different styles everytime and made really different choreographies. What I'm trying to say is that dancing is not just doing tricks. That's all. Charity and andres are still great and the lab as well. If they didn't win I wish it was Sean and kaycee.
The "Love Over Fear" piece had me in tears. Honestly couldn't get enough of how beautifully it was constructed, especially the breath part. Must be my all time fave

Ah Passion is such a beautiful thing. At first i thought Dancing and Singing was my Passion but turns out it's just admiration, i think Passion have reasons like now I'm more Passionate on Developing Games, Drawing, Storywriting and Piano mainly because a Video Game was the one that cured my depression that i want to make a game that have the same effect or better if i could continue that game Because even after 12 years that game never moved from the spot of being the reason i still cling to live. Find your Passion people no matter how hard it is.
@@peaches116 it's my pfp, the game's name is *Persona 3* it's an action/life simulator JRPG that tackles the theme of death, suicide, depression, anxiety, religion, occults and other social issues that was a big deal back in 2006 (but even now those issues aren't solved) plus the music are very idk how to explain. The game still have a very big and active fanbase. The Persona Series is like Final Fantasy, where every number is a different game and cast where there's only a few similarities.

Damn love the lab growing up i always watched ABDC i saw each episode each season my all time favorite was Quest Crew and watching these guys dance just brings back memories of the Quest Crew, however i also love the spin these guys give to their dances, was dissapointed seeing them lose season 1, but was amazed seeing them win in the end never lost fate in these guys. I know they still have much to do and i know that this team will go a long way and will always give the crowd an amazing performance. Really glad for the lab and for D Trix who was a part of their success as well

D trix is honestly one of the huge reasons why I Dance now. Seeing quest crew on ABDC growing up really inspired me. Then seeing videos of dtrix, viktor Kim, and other dancers expressing their feelings and projecting a story through movement really got me into dancing. So once I saw TheLab i felt the reignition Of inspiration as I saw the heart of every individual on that team with every performance they had. Congrats to them, and thank you dtrix for always inspiring young dancers and people in general!

You were the best choice to teach emotional storytelling through dance to these kids. I said this before, you're good at telling stories in your movements. it's not always just about the song, it's bringing the song/story to life. You're honest and kind. We all have our days where we just don't want to deal with people or things but it's always good to remind us to soften our hearts and give even if we're having a bad day. Good job!

This made me cry. Hearing the girl speak and then the back and forth between the beiber rehearsal and performance. I think we forget what goes into the final act sometimes. And the real emotion there..the why. It isn't always just a show.
It's wild you put this out now. I just binge watched the entirety of World of Dance Season 2 this week. As I was watching this video it became so clear - it's exactly what I would expect in a "Now Add A Dancer" routine. It had Dominic written all over it. It WAS an amazing message and such a risk for them to do that type of final routine, but it paid off in a win for them! Congrats to the kids for all their VERY hard work and to Dominic for being such a spectacular choreographer. =)

Filipino-American yung parents ni D-Trix but he lived in America all his life I think. The dancers are all Americans afaik
D trix is honestly one of the huge reasons why I Dance now. Seeing quest crew on ABDC growing up really inspired me. Then seeing videos of dtrix, viktor Kim, and other dancers expressing their feelings and projecting a story through movement really got me into dancing. So once I saw TheLab i felt the reignition Of inspiration as I saw the heart of every individual on that team with every performance they had. Congrats to them, and thank you dtrix for always inspiring young dancers and people in general!

I said this before, you're good at telling stories in your movements. it's not always just about the song, it's bringing the song/story to life.
You're honest and kind.

This made me cry. Hearing the girl speak and then the back and forth between the beiber rehearsal and performance. I think we forget what goes into the final act sometimes. And the real emotion there..the why. It isn't always just a show.

It's wild you put this out now. I just binge watched the entirety of World of Dance Season 2 this week. As I was watching this video it became so clear - it's exactly what I would expect in a "Now Add A Dancer" routine. It had Dominic written all over it. It WAS an amazing message and such a risk for them to do that type of final routine, but it paid off in a win for them! Congrats to the kids for all their VERY hard work and to Dominic for being such a spectacular choreographer. =)
