Iran is a secular country with a government that does not rule by what Allah and His Messenger have revealed. Iran implements the banking system of the kuffaar.
Well, not really. The regime has been trying to slow down the protests by labeling the protestors as people working with foreign governments or a minority against hijab rules. The comments made by gov officials now and then are just to distract people. The majority of Iranian people want a fresh start, an end to the Islamic Republic, and the formation of a functional democratic system. So whatever tactic they deploy won't work, and they will be put on trial and punished for crimes against humanity. They have done unimaginable things throughout the years, and it's time to hold them accountable.

All over the world, workers are finding their own voice and launching strikes. We live in frightening, depressing times, but dare I say this gives me cause for hope.
One of the most common mistakes in Western media and people is assuming that things that would cause the collapse of a government in a Western nation could happen on many of the regimes around the world, especially those that are armed to the teeth and have all sorts of repressive paramilitar organizations and institutions. These sort of regimes only fall when their own armed and security forces join the revolts in the hopes or still keeping some portion (or a better portion) of the new cake or when a real civil war arise and they lose (because they can also "win", by the way, even if on a mountain of corpses and a destroyed country). So, don't bet on the regime changing or falling: it's a regime modelled by the experience of what it did to gain power from the shah and made sure to not commit the same mistakes and so far it has survived. Those who have the reins are fanatic, entrenched in power and wealth and willing to defend their privileges.
Or to put more simply, the people with the guns are in charge. I posted that a few weeks ago when they speculated about the fall of the regime. I don't think anything has changed.
I don't know if it was deliberate or not, but the tone of speech in this video felt _very_ sombre. Relatively appropriate for the content of the video, but it does feel rather odd compared to normal.

I'm not religious, but the closest I've come to praying is hoping these protests succeed. As a young Iranian who is fortunate enough to be living/have a career outside of the country, it makes me genuinely proud to see first so many of my fellow youth start the protests, then to have everyone else join in.
Whether my genuine blood relatives or childhood friends that I talk to still in Iran, or everyone else, that's real family. As a collective, they are showing up, not backing down, making the whole world aware what Iran is really about (we are not terrorists we are not extremists we do not hate the West we want to be able to live in our land with liberty), and hopefully leading to the overturn this country has so desperately needed.
Arab spring all over again… they never learn. Things will be even worse after.

Love to see Jack back.
He really has the air of a professional newsreader on a state news channel.
I love this new narrator guy! Well done and thanks for keeping us in the loop.
The issue about the morality police is a funny one. Of course they announced it and every optimistic person were happy. But as you said, they said its not true shortly after. Not only that, one of the officials said that it will operate under a new name with a new more effective method. So yeah, the previous morality police, or گشت ارشاد (gasht e ershaad), is gone. Soon to be replaced by something worse if we fail to change the regime.
Sort of a "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" kind of situation? Hope the people of Iran finally get the satisfaction they're looking for. Best wishes my friend.
They are not disbanding just under another name. The brutality will just get worse world attention is fading. The business community will fall in line. Iran is along with Russia and China are an Axis of evil. Out in "Red State" Iran the regime has solid support. I wish Iranians the best but brutality usually wins in the end. I wish it could be different.
Great video! Don't know how you guys manage to gather all this info for each video. Cheers from South Africa! People tend to forget my country but you guys made a great video on Ramaphosa (whose name you pronounce very differently than we do in English XD)
"Ramafosa" 💀💀
As an Iranian in Iran, I really appreciate this video. Everything you have said is true and looked into pretty well. Thank you for spreading the correct news.
Terrible that NYT reports it like that. Especially considering the walk-back.
It's a perfectly reasonable interpretation. It was not reporting. It was an opinion column.
Correct, precise, wisely analyzed. Thank you for being our voice.
Godspeed Iranians! You people deserve so much better, and you will get it. Your people's determination is unbeatable

Much love from Australia to the incredibly brave people of Iran
Instead of the "Morality Police" I'm sure we will see something like a new and (not) improved "Muslim Value Unit", which totally won't be the same
Iran is a secular country with a government that does not rule by what Allah and His Messenger have revealed.
@@CanopusInfinity How many replies do you see in this thread? Wondering if my comments are shadow banned.

Even Lord Voldemort did not poison Hogwarts students to achieve his goals but the tyrannical regime of Ayatollahs did. They are truly monsters beyond explanation.
It feels more like a no-nonsense approach hearing the editor-in-chief talking about videos, which is great for videos that really require something that isn't downplayable or light-hearted.
Fantastic new anchorman! Great voice and smooth delivery! 👍
Good luck to the Iranian people in their fight for freedom! ✊️
I am not one to comment often, but even I am inclined to mention that Zachs way of presentation is quite catching. I would really like to see him more often!
Great coverage. Please also include injured numbers in stats. The state deliberately injures and blinds (with shotguns) to keep fatality numbers low.
You make an excellent point
Great video, but one really really important news that happened right on the day that you wrote the script was that Ali Khamenei's sister also sided with the people and called her own brother a dictator comparable to Mussolini and Hitler!
This statement can have really noticeable impacts on everything... And might accelerate the revolution, especially by making the people who are with the government start to doubt the regime...
Yup, and now her daughter (Khamenei’s niece) has been sentenced to 6 years in prison for making a video calling for the downfall of the regime and asking for free, democratic countries to expel the regime’s diplomats and for their own diplomats to leave Iran urgently.

This kind of video is kind of support for us
As an iranian we cant say our words in here thanks for supports
There have been many people who have been reminding the West, over these past few decades, who the Iranian people REALLY are. A great and ancient civilization. A sophisticated modern and cosmopolitan culture. Not quite as dogmatic about Islam as the Ayatollah wants us to believe. A nation that needs to blossom once again after too many decades of foreign meddling followed by an abusive autocratic government.
We all look forward to the day when Iranians rejoin the free world, when Iranians can breathe freely, speak freely and live freely again, when Iran can take it's rightful place in the world as a regional leader and a model society which other Muslim nations will want to emulate.
You've been closed into your borders far too long. The world has missed you.
There are so many who are aware and we are adamantly supporting you here in the USA we know your struggles and we care and we are aching to see you free very soon 🥺❤❤❤❤🌈 please stay strong!!

What a precise video explanation. Thank you so very much my man for creating such an accurate content that exactly reflects the situation in my country. All over the world, workers are finding their own voice and launching strikes. We live in frightening, depressing times, but dare I say this gives me cause for hope.

Subscribed! This was a truthful and complete coverage of the situation in Iran
These brave people's desire for freedom is unstoppable! We are now witnessing a new Iranian revolution.
I don't know if it was deliberate or not, but the tone of speech in this video felt _very_ sombre. Relatively appropriate for the content of the video, but it does feel rather odd compared to normal.
Very good analysis of the situation in Iran. Thank you.
"the morality police" sounds more like a feature of a distopia story.
Sounds like the MAGA folks of USA
Good job. Few people get it right when it comes to Iran. The regime will fall, we can only hope that the Iranian people do not have to pay too high a price in the process.
Poising students to stop the protests... shouldn't that be regarded as crimes against humanity?
Iran was in a "near collapsing situation" for 44 years. American dreams
