I'm 40 and still haven't peaked. Am stronger than when I was in my 20s but I mainly put that down to the fact that my training has been better, thanks to you Shane.
Hey mate, unrelated question: what would you expect to be a competitive time at a state level comp on a 370kg/815lbs yoke for a 20m/65ft run in the under 105kg/230lb weight class?
@@shanejerman3646 i would say if you staying on top of everything(All MRI organ scans quaterly, delatiriouse bloodwork that inculdes Cancer markers yearly) it hard to get your health too compromised, i would say.
So what your saying is for long term goals use deca ans eq cause they have a long halve life, so when you run out of money your blood levels should remain high for awhile until you can but more deca and EQ. Plus they are good for endurance so u can put off buy a car for awhile as you will be able to walk everywhere. So after 15 yrs you might not win a medal but you could compete in the commonwealth games 20km walking event but might win the most jacked walker award. Is that what ya sayin. I'm sure Adidas will give ya a pair of walking shoes 👞 🤔🤣

As a 19 year old strongman, this was a awesome video lol
😭😭😭
Deep video! Thank you.
More people need to see this
I’m listening 💪🙂
Amazing insight into a proper life plan for strength training. Can tell you really know your stuff
Great video Shane, thank you
What's the youngest you would suggest someone weights training in general?

9-13 seconds, 9 being you’re really good at yoke and will probably win, 11-13 still being top 3-4, obviously depends who else is there haha
@@MSTSystems thanks for the help mate 🤙 great video too
me as a german can say the car thing is not needed i use trains to travel and i trained with a lota different strongman now and yeah works perfectly
I wish I had the MST App when i was £18. Not that i'd have probably paid £30 a month for it back then, but if i did i'd be very happy with myself
back when you were £18
@@MSTSystems ffs
Great video
Great advice , hopefully some of the young guns will take it on board and become something in the future ?
25 is bang on, roughly the age the male human brain reaches maturity.
8:23 can you give a example of this please. If you know something is comming better to know before and prepare yourself.
Hard to say mate, could be a million different things, cocktails of PEDs can do so many things if you’re genetically pre disposed
