- I got a request to paint a Galaxy!🤗 Watercolor Paper: Arches Hot Pressed, 140lb, 100% Cotton, size: 7.5X10 ish.. (I cut my papers from bigger sheets)
Colors: Indigo, Purple Lake, Quinacridone red, mauve, payne's gray, white, black

The white pigment I use is Designer's Permanent White Gouache, which is an opaque version of watercolor. I use it instead of my regular watercolor whites which are too transparent for my style of painting.

Well it's our memories that paint our present life picture. Today I got out the old paint brush and painted 5 small cards that I can use for birthday and get well cards. I feel I am painted out good and proper. Hope your day was good Maria 😀🦋

Hi Maria I love this. Fabulous colour palette and I have to say that watching the gouache run and mix with the watercolour just never gets old. It's fascinating every single time 😊 and really lights up the painting. I finally got my pastels out today, crumbs, it's been so long since I did any art - it's like flexing a muscle you haven't used in a long time lol anyway 2017 is under way so let's make the most of it 😊🍷👍🏻
Sounds like a good plan Harper😃!!! Good luck with painting! Pastels are on my list... when I was a child my mom painted my entire bedroom's walls with pastels... an underwater sea world, I still have a picture of it in my head and can't wait to try something new 😃🤗
