When using the hole saw, people spin them as fast as they can, all this does is burn them out. You NEED to go as SLOW as you can to drill with a hole saw. If you do this you never wear out hole saws.

John what you need for that expansion on your hot side is a slip or a double slip joint it better than a bellow because it all the same thickness as the rest of your piping

I can’t travel more than short distances and can’t sit or stand more than about 10 minutes. It is what it used to be for me but I wouldn’t wish it on anyone else.
Not critiquing you John but just saying that unless you purge the back side of stainless steel you will get “sugar” and could lead to long term cracking

You have to lube the tool while cutting stainless steel

You need a diamond tip burr and a strait head plasma torch lol that stainless is a pain in the ass without the right tool

the harder the material, the slower the drill needs to turn. try it on speed 1 on the cordless drill. a little cutting oil will help too.

You can use a product like Solar Flux instead of back purging. IMO it doesn’t work as well as an argon purge but my experience with it is limited
