The Polo has certainly become rather more upmarket, with a beautiful Germanic styled interior, with very high quality plastics. Certain bits and pieces, multi function leather steering wheel, Sat/Nav Music system have been taken straight from the Golf. Only a few years ago the Polo was seen as the cheaper alternative to the better built Golf, but that is no longer the case. If you take the new 2015 1.4Tdi Bluemotion Polo and 1.6TDi Golf Bluemotion, the Polo is the clear winner, being over £6000 cheaper to buy, with a much higher specification, superior economy and lower emmsions. The Golf is still one of the best saloon cars on the market, but the Polo is now a genuine contender as alternative transport.
I just love Volkswagens. Beautifully built cars that last for hundreds of thousands of miles. They need to maintain this Germanic styling approach that their German rivals have dropped for an uglier oriental look. Volkswagens styling is classic, timeless. All their models look in line with each other, even going back 10 years, you can recognise each model. Nice video my friend.
I assume you're in the UK mate? How are you linking the car? Thinking of putting an order in myself fairly soon. Undecided between the Match and SEL trim.
Alaatin61 the worst part is the price. the imported cars here in malaysia are substandard and very appalling. you add that to the price of the vehicle which is 25-30k US dlr..then you will think twice
it's because we south-east asian got the Indian-built VW not the euro ones. The build quality is still top notch, but the materials has been replaced with cheaper ones :(
great video, thanks

as soon as it comes to malaysia, then everything is less, poor interior material, poor or downgraded interior design and yet still expensive...sigh
mamun2 Yes the quality is not the same I know, I think that the quality must be the same in every country.
