- Broforce Forever, the long-awaited free update to 2015’s most patriotic video game, held back from freedom-loving gamers for a crime it didn’t commit, has promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade and has delivered a glistening lump of Kentucky-fried action for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and for the first time ever, Xbox One via Game Pass.
The final update offers an improved and expanded campaign with new unlocks, along with six new ultra patriotic bros, four new new democracy-spreading challenge levels, and the ultimate expression of military might - bug fixes!
The best way for a returning player to enjoy this is to play through the entire campaign again. And again. Forever.
8 years later and this amazing game gets a free update, I love it and would love for a full sequel game

I have so much history with BROFORCE, from getting it during Early Access, to getting friends together when it get officially released, and now here I am at the end, with the final update.
Times may have changed, but BROFORCE is *FOREVER.*

@@chromezephyr8959 Unfortunately the final update on consoles changed some levels to the new designs while only adding a few new ones. We didn't get a whole standalone mode with the new design levels from Expendabros. That was kinda disappointing because some of those levels looked insane compared with the regular ones.

Literally grew up with this game. Started playing it many years ago when it was not even a fully released game and there was only a handful of bros (or however many were in that early version). Started playing it when I was around like 13 or 14 and I'm 21 now lol. This game is still one of my all time favorite side-scrolling action packed what the heck is going on AMERICUHHH video games. This game and the bros that are in it will never be forgotten.

I can’t get over the fact that this looks like a game ad you'd see in another video game or a show, and I love it.
I am STILL unlocking characters in this crazy game, and I'm STILL impressed with how faithful they are to the action film stars that inspired them.
I think my favorite part of these trailers is they aren't just cool videos, but their also alusions to actual mechanics. In the first one they showed riding on propane tanks and hijacking mechs. In this one they show that there are new enemies new characters and you can flex people to death!

I just finished another playthrough of this game now with the new content added. Wow is all I have to say. The new bros, the flex abilities, new enemies etc. Well worth it. Thank you Devolver Digital.

It almost feels criminal to get all of this stuff for free. Just about anyone other game would make this a paid DLC package, but the developers at Free Lives stuck to their red, white, and blue guns and continued delivering. Good luck and Godspeed, Free Lives.

This was such a good game, I remember when me and my brothers would get home from school, we would hop on the ps3 and ps4 to play Minecraft and broforce, such good times😢 And I can’t believe they are still updating it😮🎉

This is the first time that i see this "broforce", and let me tell you, this is probabli the most badass thing i'll ever see in my life, so badass that i felt less manly after watching it.
Completing the game in IronBro mode is still one of my proudest gaming achievements. Really hope we get a sequel some day

@@jonw3462play the campaign mode. at the end of a level after killing Satan where you see all the guys you killed and how many times you died... wait before pressing continue. at the bottom it will tell you how many more guys you need to save before unlocking the next bro. in each level there are guys in cages that you rescue but it also changes your character. those are the guys you need to save to continue to unlock bros. So at the end of a level it will say something like you need to rescue 20 more guys to unlock the next bro. keep playing campaign and rescue every guy trapped in a cage and you'll unlock bros.
@@jonw3462 I think it still keeps your rescue numbers, so it may have automatically unlocked the bros without the intro

This intro enforces upon me that we an adult animated Broforce show. Something that, like the game, parodies stuff from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

The amount of testosterone radiating from this video finally allowed me to grow a beard.
We loved to play this game local coop, alot of fun! Also one day I deleted accidently 100% save game. Guess we got to replay it now hah
Have had the game since early access, about 9 years ago, and had issues with the "elevator" boss, mission 10 if my save-game is still correct.
Finally passed that boss last week and the game wouldn't continue, but did state 50% completion, so I did a new campaign and finished it yesterday.
Got to say well worth the wait and money, it's not the easiest and a lot of times you're getting screwed by the RNG of which bro you get (final boss was hell, till I got ash and solo'd him in one life....)
But when you finish a level, it does feel deserved and fun.

Surely they are about to announce "broforce 2" or something. I can't think of any other reason why they would suddenly release a big free dlc many years after the last one.
This game is frustrating and fun in all the right ways. Even when I get killed over and over again, I never felt angry or annoyed whenever I have to restart a level after receiving a Game Over.
