India's Best Statue | Ground Report by Dhruv Rathee

- In this ground report from Trivandrum, Kerala, I visit the Jatayu Earth Center. Undoubtedly the Best Statue in India and perhaps the best tourist place in India which has been recently made. You will see what makes this tourist place so unique and special in this video. It is 100% privately funded at a cost of ₹100 crores only by multiple NRI investors. It is made on a BOT - Build, Operate, Transfer model according to which the tourist site will be given to government after 30 years. Apart from this unique business model, this is also an eco-tourism site. I interview its sculptor Rajiv Anchal in this video.

Important thing which i picked up in this video-
- Statue was not just showpiece but gave a covert message of struggle
- Statue made just within a bollywood movie budget
- Statue not just compliments the nature but even enhances it by forest plantations, water harvesting
- Statue was made by a citizen for the people.. and not by arbitrary government decision.

It’s not most educated state but most literate state both are not the same…if you know to read and write in any of the one language you will be called literate.. the one thing the local government has done best since ages is giving access to basic education in Malayalam free across length and breadth of Kerala .. so even if complete schooling or college is done people know to read or write in Malayalam , this is enough to be called literate ..most literate in any means does not very intellectual, good command over English or large population have attained bachelors degree.. if you call Keralites as highly educated , all the youths would be doing white collar jobs or business..also they would have been richest state in India, so don’t fall prey for Keralites are the greatest narrative spread mostly by communist or congress backed government as a propaganda..sure they are one of the best Indian community like the others but far behind being called ideal people or the model state

Rajiv Anchal's "Guru" is a movie that must be remade in Bollywood/Hollywood at a Magnum Opus level..since it came from Malayalam industry it never got the attention it deserved....it's so relevant at our sociopolitical system and will remain so forever....wish a director like Mani Ratnam should have never named his 2007 Abhishek starter as Guru, just as respect to Rajiv Anchal's Guru...

But I don't think Kerala make a living by washing toilets because most are capable with better skills. Fun fact: that guy's movie 'Guru' was selected as India's official entry into Oscars for best foreign language in 97, was the first malayalam movie to do so.

An example is that Kerala produces worldclass nurses to other states and around the world..
Whereas no Bengali or bihari comes to Kerala for white collar jobs, they come for migrant works which the keralites aren't doing anymore..

Ohhh ya.. please try to visit Dharavi atleast once...you can see the number of malayalis living there... similarly around 20 lakh mallus live in Gujarat,many don't do what you call white collar Jobs.....Pinne about nurses ,do you know the salary a nurse gets per month and ask any nurses why they failed to get a job in Kerala and had to work outside Kerala even for low wages? Continue to gloat that mallus do only white collar Jobs outside Kerala.... Recently one of the nurses from Kerala told that in many states like in Bangalore , hospitals have started to filter out people esp mallus and give preference to kannadigas. You are talking as if keralites are being chased to work there....fact is mallus are involved in all kinds of work outside Kerala....The only state in India which proudly says more than a ten million out of its 33 million citizens make a livelihood outside the state in the pretence that all are involved in white collar jobs but the fact is all are not...I .hope you saw the position of Kerala in ' the ease of doing business index'.....In the future, may be within a decade or two,after transition to clean energy, you will get to see the implication of having no big investments in the state..till then continue to gloat about HDI and doing only white collar jobs...remittance economy is not a durable economy....
I personally know 2 individuals who invested in this Jatayu park and both regret the decision now...and said it would have been a great success had it been outside Kerala...you will soon get to know the outcome of this project....
