I went with the 11 even though I’d prefer the pro for several reasons... but because 2020 is supposed to bring a design change and other big stuff, I think I’ll stay with 11 & spend more when it really counts.
It’s a strategy to suck more money from customers. They can easily afford to bump the res up to 1080p, but they won’t. This way the 11 feels significantly inferior to the 11 pro so people opt for the more expensive phone.
DrBarnGoat you’re so right. I got a iPhone X but when I look at 7 plus display I can hardly tell the difference. Apple does an amazing job on all their displays too so it’s no wonder the LCD still looks amazing

I used to think the same. But leakers are a big problem to any company. I was thinking about buying my first iPhone this year. Honestly it’s awesome, my camera wasn’t working on my 6s plus so pictures were out of the question. Battery on the 11 will last me a full day and a half with a full charge. The camera is so crisp, picture and video quality is amazing. I highly recommend it. Faster to unlock with Face ID and loads apps way faster than my old phone. For $700 you get a good bang for your buck. It’s only a $100 difference compared to the XR
Honestly, the iPhone 11 is priced very well and I like how they lowered the price. Very smart marketing strategy by Apple. (Edit: Look I understand that $699 and no FHD is bad, but I feel like that doesn't really matter. In my opinion, all you really need is a fast and reliable phone and A13 Bionic is insanely fast, compared to whatever they use in Android. Nobody buys Apple phones for good screen, they buy it for power/performance and its simplicity.)

Honestly it’s awesome, my camera wasn’t working on my 6s plus so pictures were out of the question. Battery on the 11 will last me a full day and a half with a full charge. The camera is so crisp, picture and video quality is amazing. I highly recommend it. Faster to unlock with Face ID and loads apps way faster than my old phone. For $700 you get a good bang for your buck. It’s only a $100 difference compared to the XR

Honestly, the iPhone 11 is priced very well and I like how they lowered the price. Very smart marketing strategy by Apple. (Edit: Look I understand that $699 and no FHD is bad, but I feel like that doesn't really matter. In my opinion, all you really need is a fast and reliable phone and A13 Bionic is insanely fast, compared to whatever they use in Android. Nobody buys Apple phones for good screen, they buy it for power/performance and its simplicity.)
