That’s because you also need to be a good player, understanding every situation, all odds, & your opponents actions… & mainly- the consistency of these “meta-breaking decks” are just a bit worse than the current Meta.
You also have to factor that people have limited resources, so theyre going to build the same decks that they know are the strongest. The people who dont care about pvp are just using their pack points to get the 1 of cards that theyre still missing and not worried about decks.
4 wins consecutive with char (ironically beat by arcanine lol), 5 wins consecutive with starmie. I love that more people use more decks now vs the first event where it was literally all the same 3-4 decks. And i always keep an eye out for your decks!
sorry, but this deck is shit for the event. it's not consistent, relies too much on luck and on bad draw makes it hard to come back. mewtwo or pika are much more reliable and can deal with bad draws, that's why continue being at the top. i tried this deck for a good while, and i kept running into the same issues over and over again, so I'm not just hating
Tried to play the deck. Immediately played against another Eggy EX. They go first, flip heads to kill my eggy basic, flip heads again to kill frogadier. Eggy EX is broken, but i did immediately close the game after that.
Yo, love your content! I did try your deck for the challenge but did find some weaknesses (could only get to 3 consec wins). The Greninja line is cool, but having all those stage 2s made the deck too inconsistent. I actually rarely hit the Ninja in time, and so I'd rarely have the Exegg + Ninja combo to do enough damage to targets. And sometimes you don't get enough tempo or don't draw the Exegg fast enough, and you wish there was more of a late game beast (Wiggly isn't enough). Still, cool concept!
If your deck depends on a coin flip (i.e. Exeggutor) then you'll always lose sooner or later. I had Blastoise getting 4 in a row over and over again until I swapped over to Team Rocket and haven't lost since. I have 12 wins at the moment
I used a Greninja / Alakazam deck to get my 5 streak, I never once got to play alakazam though due to my deck ratios though, lol. Greninja carried hard with lapras. I think I got a lucky a few times too. The alakazam was just a tech choice to one shot all the meta threats, if I managed to get it into play. 2 Froakie, 2 Frogadier, 2 Greninja, 1 Lapras, 1 Abra, 1 Kadabra, 1 Alakazam, 2 Potions, 2 Pokeball, 2 Professor Research, 2 Misty, 2 Sabrina.
I've seen a few videos now with various strategies to this event, and honestly every deck can brick or pop off, the challenge is just to not brick for 5 games... I think if anything, the best you can do is play a deck with high consistency, which is why pikachu/mewtwo decks stay at the top of the meta. I tried this deck and it was fun, but harder to recover from a rocky start imo. Leading with puff and getting exeggutor late, only for him to come in and do 40 dmg was simpy GG against decks setting up sweepers
Try this list and got to four wins before losing, tried Charcanine before that, and lost on my fifth win, but me and my friend ended up getting my 5-0 run with starmie articuno actually on our first try with it
Would this deck work better with using both grass and water energy? Means that you can give energy to the greninja whilst also using exeguttor since it only needs one energy. Wigglytuff is colourless so it doesn't really matter for that card. What do you think?? Great vid btw 👍
In my experience I got scammed by the energy zone randomness too often. Water would be fantastic in here if there wasn’t the chance it stopped your exeggutor from attacking until turn 4 lol
@DrDrao greninja and venasaur both stage 2, so after you put 1 energy to exx you just put everything to venu, so i dont see big difference with the approach and he only activate grass energy anyways so greninja just 20 dmg, its more a gimmicky deck.
@@zerenx8272 This is a pretty gimmicky deck, but still better than playing venusaur. A more meta relevant version of this deck would drop the greninja for another wigglytuff line, maybe a baby eggy, and more trainers.
So many meta breaking deck videos. Yet you still see the same 4 decks topping tourneys.
where can i watch these tourneys?
That’s because you also need to be a good player, understanding every situation, all odds, & your opponents actions… & mainly- the consistency of these “meta-breaking decks” are just a bit worse than the current Meta.
Representation is also a big factor
There are no good players in this game
You also have to factor that people have limited resources, so theyre going to build the same decks that they know are the strongest. The people who dont care about pvp are just using their pack points to get the 1 of cards that theyre still missing and not worried about decks.
got my 5 wins first try with this list against 3 mewtwo decks a pika and a weezing deck. insanely fun
Got my 5 streak with Primeape/ Kabutops. Even faced down 2 Mewtwo decks.
Primeape is so aggressive.
Im so mad that i missed the mankey promo card

This deck is goated if you love losing 🔥
"A deck I've never seen" We've literally all seen it in your video from a week ago😂
It’s to attract new viewers lol
and look at that you clicked on the video and watched it anyway
Theres probably alot more people who havent seen it and this video goes into more detail on how to play the match ups
Jeff hoogland played this like a week after release
@@animalchin5082 well, it may be true, but jigglypuff was much worse at that time
This deck is not only strong but it’s SO FUN I went 8-1 and got my winstreak in under 10 games with this!!!
Are you running dual energy with Grass/Water, or just mono Grass energy? Is Greninja just for water shuriken only?
Again, a great deck for the event! I tried it to finish the 10 win mision, and it was again a 5 win streak

We out here making moves!

Are we playing water energy for this deck?

Did this same deck for the event and first tried it!! Having so much fun with it
That’s what it’s all about !!
all im missing is wiggly to run this deck. Been ripping pikachu and trying to wonder pick it for a week now tho

got a 7 streak without any problems with venusaurEX/Lilligant/Erika... almost unstoppable
I took 24 tries. I was so miserable Im now going back in with silly decks to give others a less miserable time
I love that deck. As right now I got to 4 wins with that deck, then got Artino + Misty on first round ;(
I call this the pandan eggpuff deck
I dont have Wigglytuff EX or else I would try this.
Honestly i knew this event would suck so i just used mewtwo and first tried it
I wish I could try this but I still don't have Wigglytuff ex :(
Same...
I ran into this deck with pikachu 2 times during the event and absolutely smacked them.
Why is this better than exxegutor venusaur
Because venusaur ex is a really bad card.
@DrDrao greninja and venasaur both stage 2, so after you put 1 energy to exx you just put everything to venu, so i dont see big difference with the approach and he only activate grass energy anyways so greninja just 20 dmg, its more a gimmicky deck.

I'm impressed such an awful deck worked for you.
i got 5 wins streak using koga+wiggly deck.
then proceed to changed deck using pika, mew2 & arca9 deck to ruined other players day. LOL
This deck is meh
Got my 5 wins with this list!! Thank you!! 🌴🥷🏾🎶
