उत्तर प्रदेश में नगर निकाय चुनाव की उलटी गिनती शुरू हो चुकी हैं। सभी दलों के प्रत्याशी चुनाव जीतने के लिए पूरी तांकत झोंक रहे हैं। शाहपुर उत्तर प्रदेश के मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर ज़िले का एक नगर पंचायत शहर है। शाहपुर शहर को 13 वार्डों में बांटा गया है, जिसके लिए हर 5 साल में चुनाव होते हैं। शाहपुर नगर पंचायत की जनसंख्या 20,154 है, जिसमें से 10,553 पुरुष हैं जबकि 9,601 महिलाएं हैं, जनगणना भारत 2011 द्वारा जारी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार। चलचित्र अभियान की टीम ने नगर निकाय चुनाव को लेकर जनता से बातचीत की। जनता का कहना हैं कि शाहपुर में हर बार चेयरमैन का बदलाव होता हैं। इस बार भी जनता बदलाव चाहती हैं।

Shahpur is a town in the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh that comes under a Nagar Panchayat. Shahpur town is divided into 13 wards, and elections are held every five years. The population of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat is 20,154, with 10,553 males and 9,601 females, according to the Indian Census report of 2011. The CCA team has talked to the public about the municipal council elections. The public says that there is a change in the Chairman of the council every time in Shahpur. This time too, the public wants a change.
