Hi, yes, with all the large and small islands on the West coast of Scotland, there can be some fast moving tidal streams. With careful planning, you can avoid the worst, and even benefit from good planning with a little “push”

Hi, I use an Allkit Ordos 3 tent. Very light but a great size. My kayak is an MV, if that’s what you mean.
How is about tides in Scotland? Does kayaking in this area require lots of planing regarding tides and tide reaces?
