Just a little girth or strength to get the body and he's okay. His perimeter and switch defense against guards is actually elite for his size and position.

I wonder if Claxton will run into the Porzingis problem. If Nic puts on weight, he might lose his mobility, which makes him so effective. I wonder if there's some ideal weight for him so that he can be a decent back to the basket defender and still retain his agility.
Well, Giannis set the blueprint so, yeah, if he adds weight and improves on his FT he can be an elite role player, man i just wish they had a legit playmaker, he would benefit so much, not only him but the whole team.

BUT you forget that there are better players who can guard 1-5 even BETTER than Clax. Remember that JJJ, Giannis, and Mobley still exist. Herb Jones is also in this conversation but he's far too light to guard true 5s at Clax's level though he is annoying.

Hate to be so demanding and authoritative however: you need to create more content, a lot more. You’ve introduced a whole new world of basketball knowledge that’s been excluded from the viewership of the game. The NBA is on par with the NFL in terms of the game itself and it’s players, the major difference is the coverage and analysis. We thought football was more intricate and schematic than basketball and you (and others) are showing us that’s not true, that basketball is just as strategic as football and may even be more nuanced. It’s extremely fascinating and leaves you wanting more because it points to our ignorance of a sport we thought we understood and we don’t. Basically the average basketball fan knows 10% about basketball, where the average football fan knows 50 to 60%, NFL defenses are extremely complex now to attempt to match the offense and NFL offense is basically straight forward except for teams incorporating option routes, and there’s no way to know by watching if that’s taking place. We as basketball fans know nothing about basketball and because of that you need a bigger staff and have a civic obligation to produce more content on more obscure players and topics and whatever else you see. Don’t put any thought into the content, don’t think what’s gone work or not, you can’t miss, we don’t know anything about what your talking about and we’ve been watching the game our whole lives, so every video you make is edifying and informative and makes us that much more deadly in 2k and able to gain more enjoyment from watching the game. I’ve learned so much and watch for what actions and coverages are being run and it’s just an amazing thing you all are doing and you need to 10x your out put because your going to succeed tremendously, being a pioneer in an area the NBA itself should have been exposing us to, there’s no overhead view and a tele-straighter and a basketball John madden or tony romo coaching us up on real time, just the beauty and drama of the game, which is ok, but really takes away from what is a fascinating sport. I used to wonder what NBA coaches even did, now I know.

If u feel strongly about it, maybe u can consider supporting him at patreon so he can produce more content. All these high quality content of his, requires lots of work - including video editors and others etc.
Jesus is coming
Walmart rob Williams

Rob Williams better 🥱
Stop
No he’s not, he’s not touching Claxton’s versatility
@@kingjaydex7464 facts
People keep forgetting claxton can go downhill he can dribble
Y'all forgeting his free throws 💀
Also Rob playmaking clears Claxton
Wait til they meet the Celtics and we expose the fraudulent Nets again
@Ken Salas excuses excuses excuses but you still got swept and your best player had as many aggregated turnovers as made field goals 😏
@@brightBoss The Warriors Beat y’all lol
doesn't matter cuz curry is ur daddy ;)
It's not really a "fraud" when Celtics were forced to do Hack a Clax. Goes to show that they're not confident enough to face Nets without that tactic. It shows that they're both smart and limited.
@@Alexander-2956 gotta do whatever it takes to win. It's not our fault you have Ben Simmons and Claxton on your team😂
Just remember Clax is only 23 yo and only played for a limited amount of time since his rookie year never full seasons or even close to it.
He also has the 3 ball in his bag he used to shoot in college also in HS he used to play guard until he had a growth spurt that’s why he has quick movement and can guard 1-4 and some 5s
The Nets need to give him the green light to attempt 2-3 shots a game imho if he can space the floor like that he’ll become elite by the time he’s 25-26 yo
We (Nets fans) knew what we had with Clax that’s why we weren’t to pissed off when we traded Allen and look at our young guy now!! He’s better than Allen rn
