They roam to mate, fight and explore territory which can leave them in dangerous situations. Their life span is sadly not long compared to western home raised dogs. I lived in port Antonio and at Thomas for 10 hrs most places don’t have vets and the ones that are available charge extortion prices and a lot of them vets are suspect always end up killing pets dogs are treated badly in Jamaica so the dog passing away sad to see but really hard to get help for animals like this that get knock down u can see it has not long left to live so not sure what a vet would do anyway
