I was there. He was the only artist I was there to see that day & it was 100% worth it. Btw we're Army (bts fans) but we support EVERY member equally. So ofc we had to show out for J-hope. He is an amazing performer.

J-Hope broke Lollapalooza records & history. Around 105 thousand fans in the audience came to watch in person & nearly 100 million live-streamed him. There would have probably been more in the audience if the venue was bigger. As you already know, this was so big an occasion that fans called it "Hobipalooza". News sources have said that he may have reportedly become the highest ticket-selling artist ever in the 30 years of this festival. There had been no other artists/bands in its history that had done the same thing, all at once, even probably in the days before the Internet of the early 1990s. Well at least for Lola U.S. There was also something about a total of 3.75 million Tweets on it. There was also a Spotify record, I think, not sure. This is the power of J-Hope, the power of BTS, the power of BTS ARMY & the power of artistic authenticity. And to think he is only 1 of 7 in the band that can make such an impact. Also, if any of the BTS-related videos only say it has "auto-generated CC", do not use it, which applies to nearly any video on youtube. This only works when one person is talking with good pronunciation & enunciation & there are no background noise, music or other people talking at the same time. If it does not have any properly written subtitles/CC, then there's not much you can do other than to just watch it, or try to search the same video with someone else having edited in subtitles in your language.

J Cole waited for Hobi to arrive the night of his concert to greet him... and so did the collab. Jimin flew into Chicago to encourage and support him because he was the first member doing solo on their break. There is an after video of them in the hotel when the concert is over. Jimin is up on the right-hand side of Jhope in a balcony watching and crying with pride. All the members were watching live on the internet cheering him on. Since then RM has put out his album, Jimins is out this month and so is Suga/AgustD's. Suga is doing a tour in April in the states and Asia. The day the tickets went on sale they were sold out... Stadiums. RM and Suga are awesome too... they helped teach Jhope how to rap.

There's a joke that BTS are some of the most successful fans, because they have gotten to collab with so many people they looked up to: Epik High, Gaeko from Dynamic Duo, Tiger JK, Coldplay, J Cole, Taeyang from BigBang (There's so many more that I didn't name) and there is a collab coming with Pharrell soon.

Hope World by J-Hope is amazing. Jack in the Box is an absolute masterpiece. He really did pour his heart and soul into it. We’re so blessed to live in the time of BTS. All of them are humble, talented and just great guys. I’m so happy you’re introduced to them through J-Hooooope!!! He’s my favorite human.
Hobipalooza was on another whole level 🔥🔥 J-hope really killed it. it's definitely one of the best performances I've ever seen because HIS ENERGY AND STAGE PRESENCE and the crowd was so loud too

I was there front row on the Barricades and yeah it was extremely loud. I even remember when the security guard in front of us plugged his ears because Army was screaming so loud. 🤣🤣🤣

J-Hope is the first Korean act to headline a major US show ever !! And despite being announced late (while the ticket selling was opened already) he became the best seller artist in Lolla history !! Millions of people were live-streaming him via Hulu and Weverse as well! Guys you have seen nothing about him yet, It's like 30% of his potential! He is the best performer of the generation, an amazing rapper, and a true genius! Made all of his songs himself, and also some of the hits for BTS besides writing his verses ever since debuted! He is a dancer in core so if you watch his dance I don't think you can take it Haha (Watch Bot meets evil please) he is going to the military this year but he is gonna drop his dance project too 🔥 We will let you know when they are out.

I'm just waiting for Hansang....I experienced it live from home...the experience was strong even after one month. The energy and everything was so amazing that I could feel it from my home!!! The live band did a amazing job!!

To give you context, Lollapalooza does not hand out any sort of lights. All of those people that have a device are Armys (BTS fans). As soon as it was announced that he was headlining on the last day, tickets moved fast. 100,000 capacity, with 15 million watching online worldwide.
That's insane but was hype to watch it, hopefully in future we can see one IRL

Unfortunately, we won't be getting any more concerts from him for now cause he's leaving for his mandatory military service in South Korea. But we will be waiting for them to come back home soon.

The album had only been out for maybe a couple of weeks but the fans knew the lyrics. I’m so happy for him and wish I could’ve been there. My old lady self would’ve been screaming my head off! I’m 54, and I love J-Hope and BTS. I’m glad you aren’t getting to know him as a “boy band” member but the artist he really is.
J Hope is a born performer! He is fun to watch solo or with BTS. BTS concerts are the best I've ever been to (and I've been to lots).

Lollapalooza was amazing. I ONLY went to see my Hope. The man was electrifying live. It was my first live concert with any of the members. In May I'm going to see Suga aka Agust D. He's another rapper from BTS.
BTS Army fans turned up to support Hobi
His presentation at Lollapalooza will always be an icon. He himself said that he wanted to present himself to a wider audience to receive criticism and improve as an artist. He did amazing! In his documentary you can appreciate all the hard work he put into his album and presentation. He is an amazing artist who lives by his passion for music.
first time a sunday concert for this had ever been sold out and it sold out in about 5 min. the crowd was NUTS but polite. On the news the Chicago cops talked about how nice and polite ARMY was. Army thanked them, shared BTS stories with them, gave them water, had them eat lunch with them, gave them BTS merch and got them dancing. then came the concert and they knew every word! In Korean!

so selfishly bummed that JHope has to go into mandatory military enlistment (along with the rest of the BTS members) until 2025. BTS is so successful that the SK government did push out the age of their enlistment (all able-bodied men have to enlist by a certain age). the eldest is already serving, but if all the members are to regroup in 2025, they all have to enlist (including the youngest who's around 25 y/o) by the end of this year. JHope is the 3rd member of BTS and the 3rd rapper.
JHope's Lolla concert was historic because he's the 1st SK artist to ever headline @ Lolla (did it in Chicago)... but if he didn't have to enlist, he could've easily done a sold out tour (his bandmate, SUGA/aka AgustD, also a rapper, recently sold out the US leg of his tour within a few hours)... that's what BTS does, they sell out venues (as a group, stadiums) worldwide. and YES, i WISH JHope/BTS would come to HI! maybe by the time they get out of the military and are ready for another tour, the new Aloha Stadium will be built?🙏😅🤙

StepBros: Good to see you again. People have the idea BTS is a Boy Band, I beg to differ. Trevor Noah said, after he saw BTS, he felt cheated by Nsync and the boy bands that he grew up with. BTS has 7 different musical personalities so, you get all different kinds of music. When they come together as a team, nobody is stronger. I'm hoping you react to MORE by Jhope. His set was the best I was there
lined up starting at 3am to end up with a spot about 10 people back from the barricade and then held that spot in the crowd from 10am till 9pm when jhope finally came on. it was super hot, exhausting, i couldn't feel my legs by the end and i would 10000% do it again because seeing this show live, his first ever solo performance, is one of the coolest things i've ever been a part of or witnessed. videos don't do it justice, being in that crowd was NUTS. and there's no place in the world that jung hoseok is more meant to be then on a stage, he's so entirely in his element when performing, it's incredible.
you could say that about all of bts though. that's part of the magic. ✨
tldr: go to that next concert!! (2025🤞) it's so worth it. best of luck though, it's the hunger games out here for tickets lmao 🔪

11:09 In 2021 J-hope was in Hawaii in vacations lol. I think he met V there too and Jimin also visited Hawaii in 2019. The thing is that BTS went to Hawaii back in 2017 to film their reality show 'Bon Voyage' season 2 that is basically they traveling. They ended up loving the place and people and that's why they have comeback several times. V even thanked armys in a post for being respectful and for pretending to not know him so he could enjoy his trip without being crowded or filmed.
