    I really like in the outdoors style reviews. It's cool to see the gear in action. I've not seen that pack before, but I do like the idea of a simple under seat style bag for a weekend trip. I also like the minimalistic backpack style.
    I also liked how in this one you had your packing cubes and items without it looking like it was stuffed right to the max.
    I will definitely have to check this one out at my local Osprey dealer.

      Thanks Elliot! I like underpacking so I have room for extra stuff if I need =)

    I'm already a fan of Osprey and I really like this pack. Unfortunately I don't need another 30 litre but if I did I would purchase this one! My preferences are simplistic without interior dividers and pockets as I always use packing cubes and I don't necessarily need a water bottle or anything on the outside either.. just something else to get caught on something... The big win for me is tuckable backpack straps/convertibleto duffel carry. And although you mentioned the straps are thin to me this is clothing and not a gear bag IMO so one shouldn't have that much weight! Great review, cheers!!

      Very true Lidia, the straps are great if you aren't hauling heavy gear. Thanks for the comment as ususal, cheers!

    I’d love to see a comparison with this and Osprey Daylite 30 Duffel. Great video!

    How does the Arcane duffel compare to the osprey porter 30l, which cares more stuff? Thanks for this video 🙂

      They're very similarly sized, but I'd say the Porter holds more. It has really good compression straps too so you can pack a lot in there and squish it down. The biggest diffference is probaby the weight and backpack carry. Porter is 1lb heavier, but I like the carry straps on the Arcane better. Porter has more organization on the front, Arcane is minimalist with just one large compartment.
      I did a Porter 30 vs 46 packing demo which might help you see how much fits in it. ruclips.net/video/2MlIrJscsKw/видео.html

      @@OneBagTravels thanks just watched the video. I noticed that with the Arcane you used two eagle creek medium cubes however the porter you used smaller cubes so I thought maybe porter was smaller but you answered my question so thank you. Would love to see a video comparing these two backpacks! Many thanks again for your help.

    Do you think the materials will hold up over time for years? 500D seems rather thin

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  4 года назад +1

      Yeah, unless you're dragging the bag around on the ground 500D is fine. Also Osprey has a lifetime guarantee, if anything does go wrong they fix or replace it for free. Bags with fabric like 1000D (eg GoRuck) is a little overkill imo.
