I am not connected with THCF in any way , I'm doing this on my own because I think it's a great cause. This video was created by myself, Albert de Laat, not by Tim Hortons (although I wouldn't turn down a complimentary coffee).

At this point RUclips will only pay if I have official permission. Is this possible? The last time you were in St. Catharine's I had the pleasure of meeting you. I also gave you a letter explaining the situation with this video. I would like nothing better than to be able to forward cheque from RUclips to Tim Hortons Children Foundation. As you can see it's had mainly positive comments. Hoping for a positive reply. Albert de Laat , Port Colborne.

I totally agree with you so you must have met Johnny Reid before I met him once at the Oshawa Centre near guest services as he was signing autographs for his new CD "A Place Called Love I didn't have anything for him to sign as I'm only on ODSP But he did sign one of my sweaters I think I don't remember I'm positive he did because I wanted him to sign my cell phone he wouldn't but I did get the autograph on one of my Canada jerseys I was wearing and now Johnny Reid is now a Canadian Citizen

I go to Tim Hortons once to maybe three times a month at the most. I usually go there before a shopping trip starts and after a doctors appointment. i started hearing this song on the Tim Hortons commercial and recognized that it was Johnny Reid.I love this song and the singer. I'll update this once some money comes in. You're right about the leg -room (just a little short). Funny you should mention that, I reviewed the original video, here's the audio transcript. "Leg-room's a little short huh?". Reply from driver, with some sarcasm. "Naw, don't be ridiculous". That's what the driver is smiling about at around 1 min 40 seconds.
A further update as of Mar 9, 2017 . You tube only pays money if you have permission from the singer. I have tried twice, but have been unsuccessful. I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny Reid in St.Catharines before his show last year . He was amazing, we talked like we were old friends. He remarked, "So you're the one that made that video". He autographed my Tim Hortons mug and I presented him with a letter requesting permission so that the Tim Hortons Foundation could benefit from all the RUclips views. So far, I haven't heard anything. I'm hoping.

Heard this song in an advertisement for Tim Hortons, I did like it's tune so I went to RUclips and this is the video I saw. . I didn't know the song was made intendedly for Tim Horton. lol I like the song a lot that I feel as if I need a taste of home as well.. When I walk into Tim Horton's, which doesn't happen very often living on the world's largest fresh water island (Manitoulin) where there is no Tim Horton's, even if I don't feel like a coffee I can't help but say "extra large double-double." I don't know what it is about Tim Horton's coffee, even when I don't want a coffee I want a Tim Horton's double-double.
