Radio dramas from Radio Kashmir, before 1987 were extremely popular & well respected all over country. Pushkar Bhan, Som Nath Sadhu, Bashir Bhat, Farooq Nazaki, Pran Kishore, Santa Koul were deeply talented & highly respected & all of them friends of my Dad. Nostalgic after 35 yrs.
Thanks, I travelled back in time when this drama was so popular that the characters names were given to certain individuals, who can forget singhari and zinghari two female jinn, machama name was given to such person who was either dumb or happy poor
