Fun! I like how you use the gel print as a base to inform your abstract. And using kid's poster paint as a resist is a cool idea; I've been using waterbased gouache and am going to try your way. I've got a few lonely gel prints calling my name and I see a stack of ATCs in my future. 😁
I’ve been thinking of ways to use ones that are not quite framable but have good shapes in them. ATCs can be quite hard to start as they’re so small so the kind of structure already there made it easy. 🥰
Hi Kirsten! Great video...I need this inspo to make some atcs & work on ones I've started. Btw I LOL;d when you said 'sturdier' the captions translated it as 'stard deer.' Thank you for this video, love from Boston!
Stard deer sounds like it should be an actual thing Eddie!!! Sounds classy too so you know it was definitely not what I said 😂. My videos are nosediving of late Eddie, I dunno how to get the magic back but trying not to force it 😖🥰
WOW Kirsten!🥳 What an abundance! Each of the cards is impressive. I loved each step - and would probably have stopped a bit earlier, than you did 🤣 Your video showed very nicely the advantage and chances of small formats. It gave me some ideas for my own cards. So thank you very much for sharing. (By the way ... How is your exhibition developing? I still keep my fingers crossed 😇) Love you 😍, Britta
I need to go to the coffee shop to find out. Fingers crossed there’s some blank spots on the walls 🫣😱…probably not but some nice comments will make me happy!!! I thought about stopping with the kids poster paint but it felt like I should make the effort and do more….although the effort to make the print had already been done. Overthinking is bad for you Britta!!! 🤯😖. Love you, Kirsten 🥰
They look great!!! Love that 1st print. TFS!!! Austin TX USA
Thanks Barbara, I enjoyed making these. There’s a paint by numbers aspect to it so it was relaxing!!
