They were explaining why people used to put their hand behind the product. It was because a lot of beauty bloggers didn't have anyone actually behind the camera. They had cameras that "auto-focus." Sometimes the cameras would have problems shifting focus from the face (far away) to the small product (up close) and everything would just get blurry. Putting your hand - or, arm if you wanted lol - makes everything "close" for the camera. The camera then knows to ignore background/hand and focus in on the thing in the middle, product.
And, Shay was like, "Oh, so I don't have to do that anymore. I want to anyway." Adorable.

I love ur energy and how u act like a regular person. You overthink on what we think you have a little anxiety but ur friendly and bubbly and I love It. I have those patches on my face too!! I use a primer then spot conceal the white spot before my foundation. I’ll just be reeeeaaallyyyyy gentle with dabbing foundation on it and then set it with powder and I’m good! I also make sure to have exfoliated that area to smooth out any roughness.
