But maybe they did it in the way they did because I don’t think they ever showed how Jim reacted when Melinda said she could see/speak to Ghost. It does all make sense being that it’s a ghost show lol. The only other great thing to happen to Mel was finding out she was pregnant. & I believe although she found out when Jim was Sam, she actually got pregnant right before Jim passed. I also kinda like that when we see the new Jim we are seeing him through Mel’s eyes and he’s Jim. But others see him as Sam. One of the episodes I was watching when he was living in like the garage or whatever it was at Mel’s, we see him as Jim then he sits in the bed and there a mirror in front of him and when you look at the mirror he’s Sam. Idk if they tried to kill off Jim’s character and then ratings dropped and that’s why they revived him or what. I’m not sure the intention behind it tbh. Because obviously Jim was still on the show before taking over Sam’s body. But I guess it wouldn’t make sense to just kill him off and not at bare minimum see his ghost cross over since that’s what Mel does.
