I work with my dad and they all speak Spanish so of course I’m the translator and most gas station employee and cash registers I meet are nice but some just stare out of fear while a rare few decide to say something and I always say that America does not have an official language

Bridget Clement please tell your friend to be careful. I hope the swelling goes away quickly. They did that to my mom and they actually infiltrated her arm and she ended up with a hematoma that needed removed. Those needles are huge, your poor friend. It’s an awful experience my mom was in so much pain. Couldn’t even barely touch her arm without it being in pain.

Here’s a tip for any Karen’s out there: If you’re worried that the Spanish speaking people are saying things about you or anything, learn Spanish instead of bothering people.

I feel bad for her because I feel like this might have been a dramatic presentation Maybe somehow part of her leason. Was she actually against pomegranates? Is she even the professor? Who knows. Were students continuously leaving pomegranate messes all over her classroom and she finally snapped? Not enough context.
It was indeed part of her lesson. She was providing an example of negative reinforcement, but the clip went viral. Without context, she does sound like a Karen...but in reality, it’s part of a lesson in a psychology class.
I'd purposely learn a couple different languages and find someone to converse with in said languages in front of the first lady just to annoy her.

“No pomegranates” lady is actually a high school psychology teacher. It was the first day and she was doing the average first day introductions and she just randomly worked that part in. She didn’t say anything about it for the rest of the day, making it seem like it was an actual rule for her class. The next day though she did say it was a joke and was just messing with her students’ minds and looking for their reactions. Makes me wish I had some more teachers like that lol

You see, before getting married my father was a catholic priest, and as husband and father he was one of the most awful person on earth, seeing my mother as a money machine and me and my sister as the main reason to speak proudly to his friends. When my parents got divorced he stole almost all of our moneys, and he still do it nowadays with my grandparents that always backed him, thinking he really need that moneys for actual emergencies and not for going with escorts or going to holiday in Sardinia.
Plus, i went to my city parish for 9 years and everybody, from most kids to the priests, were really rotten inside people grown in a sick burgeoise context; very little were actully decent people.
For this reasons when i hear that someone is a christian i cringe a little bit, but if they are good people after all i don't mind in which god they believe.
I used to be christian before being an atheist because i realised i've never heard the presence and the voice of god in my life, i hope he is an important presence in yours.
