This game has some pretty cool stages and music. And on top of that, my favorite SF character - Akuma - is playable in it. My only regret is that the Shakonetsu Hadouken move is half circle forward in this game. Same issue with Alpha 1. I often mess it up after playing Alpha 2 for so long. It's all good, though. Great TAS, man!
I love how Akuma's voice sounds in this game. It's like he's actually made of voice samples and assets of other characters, since this was probably back during the time when Akuma was a Glitch, more of an urban legend, Wandering the Arcades, not exactly a fully fledged character of Street Fighter Lore like later games would make him.
The Sega Saturn version of this game on highest difficulty is maddening. Magneto is darn cheap and every hit does so much damage. Even so this and SF Alpha 2 were fun times in the mid 1990's.

Para mim foi uma surpresa colocarem o Akuma no X-Men Children of the Atom! Eu realmente não sabia... Mas o mais curioso é que quando enfrenta ele,o Akuma ocupa o cenário do Ciclope. Pena que ele não tem o Special do Raging Demon (aquele lá que faz um comando complexo com soco fraco duas vezes,pra frente,chute fraco e soco forte)... Achei intrigante pela primeira vez o Akuma meter Shoryuken de fogo sendo que ele não faz isso geralmente em games que não sejam crossovers.

One of the few times where I thought the hidden guest character in a fighting game was worse than the main cast. Don't get me wrong, I love Akuma, but I could beat this game with every character... but him.
Understandable you feel that way, he feels so slow clunky in this game and it's like his attacks get overpowered by just about everything other characters do. if he felt more like he does in SSF2T I would feel good about using him.

I keep finding it strange how Akuma is in his SF2 style, but then I remember that the Alpha series wasn’t around at the time.
Marvel and Capcom were crossing over long before X-Men vs Street Fighter.
It's such a joy to see the awesomeness of Akuma gameplay on one of capcom's Overlook classics! Absolutely love this game and all its wonders!
