Had fun with this listen 8) the ‘in between’ sound hehe I can’t help but notice one of the names in the description - maxim303- the original DI Goa/Psy channel moderator? I remember the name from 20 years ago. I never got to know them like the rest of the forums family, which a handful I’ve met at parties and such. The mods changed from early 2004 and a few years later. Word was that maxim kinda disappeared 😅 either way, thought it was cool seeing it there.
Thanks for that Johan, a lovely mix as always, and unsurprising to me yet another reminder that I seriously need to stop constantly visiting the same electronic music CDs etc (Underworld, FSOL, Bukem, Mills, Hawtin, Autechre, Aphex Twin etc) and get around to revisiting the other stuff I bought so many years ago, obviously bought for a reason whether it was for certain tracks or knowing it was going to be another good one I'd enjoy from a certain series etc... Tonight I promise to myself and all you who read this, this weekend starts my journey back to go through those discs that have been ignored for too long... 😉👍. ❤ 🔊
That's what I like with doing these compilation mixes. Revisiting, in many cases, long forgotten discs and tracks. In this case, only Hello San francisco (How can it still be so good after all these years!) and Age Of Love were tracks I remember well. The others I had forgotten about but thoroughly enjoyed reacquainting myself with them again
TranceMaster, especially the first volumes, have a unique style, it's a shame that it is so unknown to many, they also deleted the Bandcamp of visionsoundcarrier and TranceMaster :(
I think it's hard if not impossible to get the license for all of those tracks and that's why they were removed from bandcamp. Many labels are defunct since years and the rights probably reverted back to each individual artist. Whatever license Vision Soundcarrier had would not be applicable anymore
I hadn't seen it like that, well I guess it's very difficult because of what you mention about the licenses, and Goahead ended up being deleted from Bandcamp for the same reason I think.
Same. I just checked my MP3 collection and have it ripped from my CD copy. I don't actually remember buying it or any of the tracks but I'm sure they'll ring a bell when I hear them again.

Great album and mix. Only song I wasn't a fan of was the last song. It had that out of tune sound some songs had at the time.
It kind of stands out in having fair bit higher bpm than the others too
