You are so thorough! Would this work to train beginner aerial silks (not hammock) or is it not spacious enough do you think? Thanks for your time! (You are gorgeous btw:)
😊 Thank you, glad you liked it. You could definitely use it for conditioning and practicing the basics like footlocks but beyond that it might be a little small
Great video. I also have the expose A-frame. However my securing straps have broken (gotten frayed and ripped overtime) and x-pole says that they don’t sell them separately. Would you (or anyone) know where to get replacement straps? Or, perhaps what other straps would be a good replacement? I don’t even really know the length to buy etc.
Perfect practical guide, so helpful for Urban dwellers with precious space for storing and assembling single handedly. Also, seeing you walking around it in relation to a room. I downloaded the manual and the footprint based on a height 8' would be 6' 4" by 7' 4" would that be approximately consistent with your actual structure? Have neighbors the floor below commented of any rocking disturbances? What size single point hoop would recommend and can you hang a single point hammock? Thank you so much for all your excellent and well thought out content!!
Hi:) yes that measurement sounds about right... I would be surprised if using the a frame created and audible sounds in other apartments, unless of course you drop a piece during set up lol. I have a 37'' hoop which is perfect for tall people like us, standard is 36'' (going to make a video soon about choosing the right hoop for you), and I only ever rig hammock as a single point (tie the hammock to two "8's" then put them together on a caribbeaner)
@@cchapman1896 Hello Cara, I just pulled the trigger on my home circus, thanks to all your knowledge and inspiration-- Rig, tabless 37" OD hoop, hammock and all the extras will be coming soon!! I watch this video over several times to review every detail to be sure that my commitment would be a happy one. U need to be an X-Pole ambassador!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@JH-zr8lo that's great, congratulations! You might want to consider a mat while you're at it or at least a couple of thick yoga mats just for extra safety :)
I absolutely love your channel! Super helpful and easy to follow tutorials 💗 I finally got my x pole delivered on Friday and I had a little go on it. I wanted to know how you structure your training? As in which order, e.g. warm up, routine/freestyle, work on tricks, conditioning, warm down? I was a bit lost on Friday so I just freestyles the whole time
At the moment I try to do 45 minutes warm up, 1.5 hours training old moves and conditioning, 1 hour new moves but I often change that up depending on how I feel
Hi Denise - it's probably a good idea to have the straps just for extra support and stability, HOWEVER, I often use my frame without the straps for videos or if the straps are in my way so it is OK to use it without the straps until you can replace them
Hi, I wanted to know if you could make a beginners guide to buying a hoop (Lyra), and the hoops that you have used. I’m tall too! I am about 183cm. I want another tall gals perspective on hoop shopping.
Great video! Where did you purchase your bow shackle and what size? I would like to do the same on my A-frame. Thank you!
Thank you so much, this is very very helpful!
Thanks for this informative video!
By the way, your decor is absolutely gorgeous ☺️
Aw thank you :)
Thanks for the video,very helpful
The links in the description doesn't work
What about the spanset at the top? How did you put that on?? How long is it? Ty
I've been trying to work/find this out too. Did you find how to set it up

Hi, do you have a video of how you set up the top spanset?

Cara Chapman Aerial Pole thank you so much for that, you are so helpful ☺️
When you go to the park, do you have to get a permit from the city to set up your rig ?
Hey there! I don't know if I'm missing the info but which brand A frame did you use?
I have an xpole frame but Uplift active has an identical one
Hi Cara! I have lost the straps for my frame. Is it vital to have them? Thanks :)
Hi Denise - it's probably a good idea to have the straps just for extra support and stability, HOWEVER, I often use my frame without the straps for videos or if the straps are in my way so it is OK to use it without the straps until you can replace them
@@cchapman1896 thanks so much for the advice 😀 keep up the good work! I love your videos!
hey! how long from start to finish do you think it takes for you to assemble it xx
Now that I've had a lot of practice about 10-15 minutes
where can i buy that frame from?
and how long is the height?
I got mine from Xpole, you cn also buy it from uplift active - the height varies depending on which setting you put it on

Sure I can do that :) I'm putting it on my videos to do list!
Aren't You Glad you watched the video prior to drilling a hole in your ceiling, 😂😂😂
Would it work in an apartment that's ceilings are 7ft 9 inches?
7'9'' would be a little too low for this type of rig I think, I would recommend getting a lollipop lyra instead
