1:38 - This was actually a line of discrete but pretty transient supercells. Hail >5 cm was observed in Orimattila.
3:07 - Deep convection was associated with an outflow boundary left behind by earlier cells. This created a convergence zone near the coast. Hail >5 cm was again observed according to FMI.

Kyllä! Valtava helisiteetti teki paljon mukavia pikku "mesoja" jotka kuitenkin kuihtuivat mutta timelapset ainakin onnistui. Mukavia rakeita oli tosiaan ollut takaosan laskuvirtauksessa. Harvoin tällaista pk seudulla tapahtuu.

I had no idea you guys had Supercells in Finland. I guess they can form anywhere when the right conditions converge upon each other.

@@henrikheikkinen Hi! Thanks for replying. In the UK where I come from, in May/June 2012, we had an unprecedented weather event that resulted in the formation of three Supercells. They were textbook Supercells with massive intimidating anvils, a well defined wall cloud, epic rotation and all the trimmings of torrential rain, hail, stomping thunder, vicious lightning and one of them went on to produce a tornado that was short lived but it was quite big. They form sporadically but to have three at the same time, that is like once in a lifetime. My dream is to someday go to the US and chase. It would be enough just to see Supercells. A tornado is just a bonus.

@@vinaymulukutla358 interesting ! For me too seeing the 18km top supercells of Oklahoma are in the wishlist. This supercell was really a rarity, one of that size appearing so late in the season is truly a very rare moment.

@@henrikheikkinen It’s like music to my ears hearing your views on storms and we both hope to do the epic chasing someday in America. Been fascinated by tornadoes all my life but I only learned about Supercells from 2012 onwards. I am subscribing and following you. Plus you’re a musician as well.

@@vinaymulukutla358 thank you ! I became interested in storms 5 years ago, when a huge MCS stroke my town in southern Finland.
