If you want to be immortal in maps for a couple divines, go for lightning coil + taste of hate + topaz flask - place your tincture between your topaz flask and your taste of hate. With this setup, you can click the blue altars that are normally deadly (enemies deal bonus cold+lightning damage// player gets -50 cold/lightning resist) With this combo and a stormshroud or ancestral vision setup, you are all but unkillable.

I think that's more a problem of the youtube algorithm then. I can think of 20 good builds off the top of my head this league. Here's a few I've talked about or considered playing for myself; Rage Vortex of Berserking Penance Brand of Dissipation / Storm Brand of Indecision Mana RF (or Mana Static Orb) CoC (either stat stacking, or non-stacking) Life stack phys skill warlock abyss jewel bomber cleave of rage Poison Pathfinder (ideally ele) Bow/MF Explosive Trap of Fragmentation boss killer
That's because people tend to lean towards builds that work or have proved to work in the past, closer to the end of the league you will see more "quirky" builds. Also the player base in general just focuses on whatever the popular streamers/players are building to make sure they don't build a dud.
You can play alot of different builds. And sure there are some more popular/meta but that doesn't mean you can't play other builds and still do more than fine.
I've been playing this build (love it!) - quick question: Does any of the items or passives allow us to put the "Withered" Debuff on enemies? I see we took the Chaos Master passive for Withered Debuffs, but can't seem to find out how we inflict wither at all

I'm pretty sure empower is essentially useless. You don't care about the caustic arrow DoT pool it leaves on the ground and that's all gem level would add
PoB says 500k dps and I know that is not enough for Uber uber. Can you please explain how this skill works? All I know is ramping damage but is there a way to calculate that or see that in POB? Im a bit confused.

from what i know, main reason for using HoA is for other skill hits to have 100% poison chance as tincture poison user, if u got all skills 100%, u can choose whatever aura u wish, even determination choice is fine
I tried LA a bit, and didn't like it. I never ended up trying Ice Shot. SA of Menace's clear is just so much easier to control and it doesn't require things like fork/chain/return/split (without which LA feels lackluster).
Neither does LA nor Ice Shot. You should at least try it. The damage is insane. Even tho Scourge Arrow cover the entire screen it lacks real damage to insta one shot packs.

Micro-Distillery has 30% flask effect, flask effect scales Dying Sun for additional projectiles. It's a pretty significant deal for pretty much all the links.

How do you feel it compare to like a MF build in term of farming? FEels like MF build is all the rage right now but really don't want to do some squishy like MF TS build.
Micro-Distillery belt's implicit says "Can't use flask in fifth slot", therefore the tincture has to go in that spot, meaning only the flask in the 4th slot gets the bonus for being next to the tincture. And that flask should probably be Dying Sun which, when your build is complete, can get 100%+ flask effect and make your skills fire 4 additional projectiles during effect (instead of the base 2 additional).
Hey, I was following your build and found a problem. Unwaveringly Evil removes recovery effect from bloodnotch, that means you gain nothing from stun effect while shooting. I'm trying to fix it, love to hear opinion from you bro
With how much recovery the build had I never ran into any issues as a result of this. I'd rather have my attacks never be interrupted as opposed to recovering slightly more frequently. If you want more recovery don't use Unwaveringly Evil. You only lose the Bloodnotch recovery when you would be stunned while attacking with a chaos skill. Remember a lot of the time you're running around while mirage archer shoots rather than firing yourself.

Energy Shield gives a passive 50% chance to avoid being stunned, so you want 0 (I tried shifting it off my life with EB but this made things awkward as I needed actual ES but needed to spend Mana for Manaforged Arrows).

1) No, I don't think it's worth it because the build is (almost) Taken as capped anyway. 50% (Lightning Coil) + 16% (Helmet, perfect Implicits) + 26% from ToH (could be closer to 30% with perfect gear as technically you can get 30% more flask Effect on belt) = 96% taken as, I don't think it's worth using the aura just for the last few %. 2) You'd have to drop the resistance ring, and make up for that elsewhere on gear (which admittedly is tough, but you can get 2 suffixes on your other ring, and fix the third via extra res across several items including clusters or on your That Which Was Taken. This would let you use Punishment, Temporal Chains, Despair.
Actually trying to trade out the resistance items and modifiers for item rarity and running elemental flask and getting elemental roll on other flasks is how you make this exact build into gorathas magic find build.
One thing I haven't been able to understand ever since the emergence of this build: how is Poison CA better than standard CA?! Looking at showcases it really doesn't seem to be performing better (damage/clear speed). If anyone would be keen to enlighten me as to how/why.

all 3 curses. i have a corrupted implicit neck with +1 curse, then anointed with whispers for 3 curse limit. its corrupted double implicit asenaths touch with despair on hit + ele weak as the implicits, netting all 3 curses. so what youre saying is i can just run lifetap + EB basically? or that EB should be taken in caution to make sure i can trigger manaforge every attack if im not using lifetap in my manaforged?@@Tenkiei

@@traserelax6686 People tend to say that but then they turn out to be running the wrong affliction ascendancy because they like the extra bag space. Poison tincture that you see in the video will absolutely skyrocket your damage is absolutely mandatory. The build is built around it. I thought I bricked my build because it took literal minutes to kill rares and uniques until I swapped to the poison tincture. After that everything melted. I do miss my charms , though. The overall cost should be around 100-150 divs(without flasks), but you can scale it way further by using Progenesis (which wasn't used by Tenkiei before lvl 100 at all), good corruptions and perfect rolls. You can get some items for 1 divine each, but if you want a perfect roll then the same item can easily be 15div. Belt, weapon and quiver were the most expensive part. Cluster jewels can get expensive as well if people see the guide and want to price fix.
I would fix bleed for HC, unaffected malevolence eye. But aside of that yes. Note; I would be more careful about map mods in HC, in SC I run *almost* anything, in HC I wouldn't be running -max for example.
Things died fast enough that I never bothered to calculate it precisely. To be precise you'd need to go into pvp and test average overlaps then use PoB to approximate the damage for each component. What I did instead is assumed every projectile on Caustic Arrow overlapped, and half +1 on Scourge Arrow did, for Storm Rain I put in 10 overlaps as a rough guess. That setup ended up a few mil short of the DoT cap.
I copied your character into pob few days ago and have been farming gear for it and today im transitioning into it, as this build is something i want out of a mapper - decent clearspeed but also tanky, especially to shotgun effects. My current MF TS build feels squishy as fuck and many T7 cemetary 8-mod maps went to waste cos i went too far with wisps and a hyperboosted Soul Eater from abyssal depths just omegabuttfucked that fragile character from 3 screens away. Do not underestimate a T7 map with 9000 wisps and 8 modifiers boosted with wandering path atlas tree. This is way more difficult than regular alc-and-go t16 map. Main issue - CAN IT DO REFLECT? Cos atm i have anti reflect charms and can farm any 8 mod maps. I farm them myself by running an adjacent map with 8-mod sextant modifier applied. And - is a poison tincture mandatory? I have a good tincture that generates rage AND has 27% chance to steal a mod for 60secs but it is not the green one. It's a stun on hit.
1 - It cannot do reflect without getting "Immune to Reflected elemental Damage" on your That Which was Taken. 2) Yes, the Poison Tincture IS the build.
@@ElSabio159because the massive amount of flat elemental damage you get from the bow. The tincture allows that damage to scale your poison. You’ll do half the damage by not using the tincture
@@ElSabio159 poison can only be calculated by physical, chaos or both of the initial hit. It never includes elemental damage of any type. Elemental bows usually have the highest base dps in this game, usually because there's 3 elements. The tincture allows the use of elemental bows to be included now in poison damage,.. which is higher than a Phys and Chaos bow aka more pew pew power, more things dying faster. No tincture, less dps by a big chunk Edit: one thing I learnt is that you still need to get 'chance on hit to poison', I mistook the tincture to mean, all damage will poison, which is not written there lol... figured out that lil misread on my part good luck and have fun

Damage comes from the tincture where all damage can poison, so you can scale all types of elemental damage. Then scale your poison. Survival comes from max res/chaos res, evasion, armor, regen comes from life on hit and instant life leech.
Man all these builds and so much divines needed, this cannot be done by a “casual player” let alone a new player. I’m trying deadeye build and struggling, everything costs so much and I’m not getting any significant currency. Having issues transitioning from early mapping to mid-late mapping.
I started league five days ago, started a Tshot manaforged with self found gear. Dropped a divine and searched trade for a bow, max price 1divine 800ele dps 1.5aps 8crit. Two days later I bought the neck + 2 required jewels and switched. As I drop more currency I'll upgrade. It's not super fast or as tanky as Ten obviously but it clears alch and go T16 with whatever wisp juice I get. This video is showing the build in basically it's end state, don't be discouraged by that.
That's a very strange way of looking at it.... You're watching an END game build guide for a mostly min maxed character why would you think it's a cheap build? He literally tells you in the video if this is too expensive to watch my other video on this build. Obviously he didn't start this build with all this gear... You slowly build up to it one piece at a time
Also if you're not making currency, stop staring at the trade site for 75% of your play time price checking random shit and you'll make tons of currency. I'm talking no more than 10 seconds from the time you finish a map until you're loading into the next one.
Nah, I played both and totems are preferable for me. More consistent damage because totems are always up and hit max poison faster. For self cast whenever you're running around and not attacking DPS = 0

But initially I put together a build based on the Goratha video. And I got a symbiosis of your two options. Bow skills come from him, and defense and immunity to physics come from your build. Therefore, I asked him a question about Nimis. And this is what he answered. "yeah for sure Nimis was my end-game swap, it's basically double damage with GMP" As a result, I have 2 answers with opposite opinions! :) I bought Nimis myself and only managed to run through 1 map :) I wanted to sleep already :) I can’t say whether it got better or not. It seems that it’s definitely not worse :)
The problem with Nimis is that it changes your overlap pattern from "where you aim your cursor" to "where your character stands" with makes it far more difficult to overlap. The minute you mis-position with Nimis you lose a massive amount of damage. So if you're playing the game perfectly then sure it's a dps gain, but otherwise it's a severe loss. Edit: Also in my current gear there's not much dps to be gained from scaling the build further, I'm nearly at the DoT cap so it's only a ~30% dps gain from perfect play, not double. If Goratha is getting double dps that's both because he is a very skilled player, and his build's dps is significantly lower (without Nimis) than my current setup.
Was struggling to adapt Goratha's hardcore version to Softcore. Thanks for posting.

Because I found I killed myself to bleed too often, and never really died to other DoTs outside of uber bosses.

what don't you understand? this jewel allows you to take skill points without pathing. but only those that are at the end of the ring
yo why do u not move your tincture next to your flasks with lowest uptime to take advantage of nature's concoction(dying sun+progenesis)?

Higher effectiveness of added damage, plus flat damage scaling on top.
Normal version doesn't have flat chaos damage.
What level of despair is that on the ring?
So torn on CA of poison vs Vaal CA for MF. I suppose if I want to fool around with an aurabot the CA of poison is the only real way to go though?
Yes, CA of Poison (with the tincture) gets huge damage from Haste, Anger, and Wrath.
Does Caustic's MTX cause you any more lag than normal? If you have scourge, does it cause more lag than normal too?
The white MTX hasn't been causing me additional lag. Scourge does though sadly (regardless of MTX).

The Manaforged Arrows does too much damage, you'd need a second AWED (which is a bit of a dps loss).

all 3 curses. i have a corrupted implicit neck with +1 curse, then anointed with whispers for 3 curse limit. its corrupted double implicit asenaths touch with despair on hit + ele weak as the implicits, netting all 3 curses. so what youre saying is i can just run lifetap + EB basically? or that EB should be taken in caution to make sure i can trigger manaforge every attack if im not using lifetap in my manaforged?@@Tenkiei

Hi, I tried this build, but for some reason once mobs gets to me, i cant move. Is that stun? if so, how can i avoid that? still kinda new to the game, your input will help :)
Did you get a high enough roll on Immutable force? I think you need like 800%+ for it to feel good.

I started with Toxic Rain for day 1, then swapped to ele poison around yellow maps. I've been making adjustments and upgrades ever since.
I invested around 70 div without the progenesis and the damage was terrible. I think you need about a mirror to make everything work as it should be
@@traserelax6686 People tend to say that but then they turn out to be running the wrong affliction ascendancy because they like the extra bag space. Poison tincture that you see in the video will absolutely skyrocket your damage is absolutely mandatory. The build is built around it.
I thought I bricked my build because it took literal minutes to kill rares and uniques until I swapped to the poison tincture. After that everything melted. I do miss my charms , though.
The overall cost should be around 100-150 divs(without flasks), but you can scale it way further by using Progenesis (which wasn't used by Tenkiei before lvl 100 at all), good corruptions and perfect rolls. You can get some items for 1 divine each, but if you want a perfect roll then the same item can easily be 15div. Belt, weapon and quiver were the most expensive part. Cluster jewels can get expensive as well if people see the guide and want to price fix.

Note; I would be more careful about map mods in HC, in SC I run *almost* anything, in HC I wouldn't be running -max for example.

Things died fast enough that I never bothered to calculate it precisely. To be precise you'd need to go into pvp and test average overlaps then use PoB to approximate the damage for each component. What I did instead is assumed every projectile on Caustic Arrow overlapped, and half +1 on Scourge Arrow did, for Storm Rain I put in 10 overlaps as a rough guess. That setup ended up a few mil short of the DoT cap.

The poison mod on the TWWT is mandatory, the rage mod on a Poisonberry Tincture is the only important thing.

on your tree I think you have 5% chance of apply withered. How you actually do it with this build?
I like it a lot, when fighting a tanky rare it means my wither (almost) instantly stacks to 15.

I copied your character into pob few days ago and have been farming gear for it and today im transitioning into it, as this build is something i want out of a mapper - decent clearspeed but also tanky, especially to shotgun effects. My current MF TS build feels squishy as fuck and many T7 cemetary 8-mod maps went to waste cos i went too far with wisps and a hyperboosted Soul Eater from abyssal depths just omegabuttfucked that fragile character from 3 screens away. Do not underestimate a T7 map with 9000 wisps and 8 modifiers boosted with wandering path atlas tree. This is way more difficult than regular alc-and-go t16 map.
Main issue - CAN IT DO REFLECT?
Cos atm i have anti reflect charms and can farm any 8 mod maps. I farm them myself by running an adjacent map with 8-mod sextant modifier applied.
And - is a poison tincture mandatory? I have a good tincture that generates rage AND has 27% chance to steal a mod for 60secs but it is not the green one. It's a stun on hit.
1 - It cannot do reflect without getting "Immune to Reflected elemental Damage" on your That Which was Taken.
2) Yes, the Poison Tincture IS the build.

@@ElSabio159because the massive amount of flat elemental damage you get from the bow. The tincture allows that damage to scale your poison. You’ll do half the damage by not using the tincture
@@ElSabio159 poison can only be calculated by physical, chaos or both of the initial hit. It never includes elemental damage of any type. Elemental bows usually have the highest base dps in this game, usually because there's 3 elements. The tincture allows the use of elemental bows to be included now in poison damage,.. which is higher than a Phys and Chaos bow aka more pew pew power, more things dying faster. No tincture, less dps by a big chunk
Edit: one thing I learnt is that you still need to get 'chance on hit to poison', I mistook the tincture to mean, all damage will poison, which is not written there lol... figured out that lil misread on my part good luck and have fun

Damage comes from the tincture where all damage can poison, so you can scale all types of elemental damage. Then scale your poison. Survival comes from max res/chaos res, evasion, armor, regen comes from life on hit and instant life leech.
how do you know your at dot cap?
Man all these builds and so much divines needed, this cannot be done by a “casual player” let alone a new player. I’m trying deadeye build and struggling, everything costs so much and I’m not getting any significant currency. Having issues transitioning from early mapping to mid-late mapping.
I started league five days ago, started a Tshot manaforged with self found gear. Dropped a divine and searched trade for a bow, max price 1divine 800ele dps 1.5aps 8crit. Two days later I bought the neck + 2 required jewels and switched. As I drop more currency I'll upgrade. It's not super fast or as tanky as Ten obviously but it clears alch and go T16 with whatever wisp juice I get.
This video is showing the build in basically it's end state, don't be discouraged by that.
That's a very strange way of looking at it.... You're watching an END game build guide for a mostly min maxed character why would you think it's a cheap build? He literally tells you in the video if this is too expensive to watch my other video on this build. Obviously he didn't start this build with all this gear... You slowly build up to it one piece at a time
Also if you're not making currency, stop staring at the trade site for 75% of your play time price checking random shit and you'll make tons of currency. I'm talking no more than 10 seconds from the time you finish a map until you're loading into the next one.

Nah, I played both and totems are preferable for me. More consistent damage because totems are always up and hit max poison faster. For self cast whenever you're running around and not attacking DPS = 0

@@Tenkiei I'm very sorry, and I don't want to question your words. I put together a build based on your video and am very grateful to you. But initially I put together a build based on the Goratha video. And I got a symbiosis of your two options. Bow skills come from him, and defense and immunity to physics come from your build.
Therefore, I asked him a question about Nimis. And this is what he answered.
"yeah for sure Nimis was my end-game swap, it's basically double damage with GMP"
As a result, I have 2 answers with opposite opinions! :) I bought Nimis myself and only managed to run through 1 map :) I wanted to sleep already :) I can’t say whether it got better or not. It seems that it’s definitely not worse :)
The problem with Nimis is that it changes your overlap pattern from "where you aim your cursor" to "where your character stands" with makes it far more difficult to overlap. The minute you mis-position with Nimis you lose a massive amount of damage. So if you're playing the game perfectly then sure it's a dps gain, but otherwise it's a severe loss.
Edit: Also in my current gear there's not much dps to be gained from scaling the build further, I'm nearly at the DoT cap so it's only a ~30% dps gain from perfect play, not double.
If Goratha is getting double dps that's both because he is a very skilled player, and his build's dps is significantly lower (without Nimis) than my current setup.
