    We might call the bend angle's clockwise convention a Left Hand Rule instead.
    Otherwise great helpful, thorough tutorial!

      Is it left hand rule? What conventions use left hand rule? My problem is, I flatten harnesses so infrequently I can never remember, so I go with "try and modify."

      @@CADPLMGuy Ah sorry, no such "Left Hand Rule" convention exists. It's just I notice in your tutorial that positive angles always went clockwise, as if to follow the opposite of the RHR.

    great, very helpful, videos. while flattening a very complex harness, i get the error, "There is flattened location on the path. Selection Rejected." What the heck does that mean? any help is very much appreciated.

      Well… it sounds like one of the locations you’ve selected to flatten has already been flattened. Try selecting a smaller portion of the harness either to see if you can flatten or to identify which location has already been flattened.

    how to attach connectors and pins?

    • @CADPLMGuy
      @CADPLMGuy  4 года назад +1

      Are you assembling pins as individual components?

      @@CADPLMGuy It is the multipin connector, a microd with the entry ports, but there are pins in it for the bom. The problem is when the cable is flattened the wires do not go to the entry point, they just I looked at the PTC training and they do not cover how to do that
