Most people think of the guitar riffs when they think of this song, it is just so recognisable! But the other elements are just insane too. Ozzy's vocals on this are legendary. The bass part is great also. But my favourite part is the drums. The drums on this are absolutely f*cking deadly. Give it a listen and concentrate on the drums. It's just mindblowing!
I know this song was made well before it was related to Iron Man (or his movies) but it fits so well. The first verse questions his eccentric nature, and the fact that he’s almost dead at the start of his journey, the second verse is furthering this idea he’s on the brink of death, and while most people would just leave him, he’s helped by Yinsen, the third verse could be connected to the chest piece, as it’s an electromagnet, he ends up travelling time in the comics and movies, and in the movies he sacrifices himself for everyone, the fourth one about him avenging others. The fifth one could be about how while he used to make weapons that saved villains and bad people, he now fights against the unjust. It just works really well.

When he arrives back , at first he cant move or talk, And he cant warn the people of the horrible future. So the people see him as just a statue and place him on a pedestal as a tourist attraction. Years and years pass by as the iron man stands on the pedestal collecting pigeon poop, and he becomes deeply depressed and angry, resentment builds up inside him. As the time goes on he learns that he has magnetic powers and can make airplanes and power grids crash by using this. When he learns to use his magnetic powers to the fullest he starts to levitate and starts a killing spree, throws vehicles around and destroys everything metal and electrical. So in the end the iron man has destroyed the world, and he then realizes that the future catastrophe he wanted to warn about was actually himself...

Most people think of the guitar riffs when they think of this song, it is just so recognisable! But the other elements are just insane too. Ozzy's vocals on this are legendary. The bass part is great also. But my favourite part is the drums. The drums on this are absolutely f*cking deadly. Give it a listen and concentrate on the drums. It's just mindblowing!

I know this song was made well before it was related to Iron Man (or his movies) but it fits so well. The first verse questions his eccentric nature, and the fact that he’s almost dead at the start of his journey, the second verse is furthering this idea he’s on the brink of death, and while most people would just leave him, he’s helped by Yinsen, the third verse could be connected to the chest piece, as it’s an electromagnet, he ends up travelling time in the comics and movies, and in the movies he sacrifices himself for everyone, the fourth one about him avenging others. The fifth one could be about how while he used to make weapons that saved villains and bad people, he now fights against the unjust. It just works really well.
When I was little the beginning of the song absolutely terrified me. The first guitars strums and the “I aM iRoN mAn” god it horrified me, but now it’s one of my all time favorite songs.

When he arrives back , at first he cant move or talk, And he cant warn the people of the horrible future. So the people see him as just a statue and place him on a pedestal as a tourist attraction. Years and years pass by as the iron man stands on the pedestal collecting pigeon poop, and he becomes deeply depressed and angry, resentment builds up inside him. As the time goes on he learns that he has magnetic powers and can make airplanes and power grids crash by using this. When he learns to use his magnetic powers to the fullest he starts to levitate and starts a killing spree, throws vehicles around and destroys everything metal and electrical. So in the end the iron man has destroyed the world, and he then realizes that the future catastrophe he wanted to warn about was actually himself...
