The way I see it, Professor Wonder was a wacky professor, think Ms. Frizzle. He made all the mini attractions in the lab, including the ones in the Natural Disasters Lab. In the Earthquake Cafe, Prof. Wonder ate his favorite food (especially meat) while experiencing an exciting earthquake. One day, he tested a shelter and studied how to make a man-made tornado. The winds made the tornado too strong, making the entire lab to fly away. Then, it was taken far away to an unknown place, where Prof. Wonder decided to make his lab into a fun museum to share his stuff with the world, using a machine that inverts the lab into it’s original state.
