I watched the video from Taylor Budgets as well. It hurt me how people criticized her about her Starbucks budget. We all know from experience cutting all out that brings you joy makes you overspend. Also I use the budget by paycheck planner from The Budget Mom and people were going in on her about shipping to the point I was thinking “this woman will not make another planner.” It was discouraging to me! I pray you all keep up your good work!
You are right to block the haters! ❤ We are adults and they know what they saying and that acting that way is rude and uncalled for. They do it for attention cause that will catch others attention, and I don’t want my audience/supporters on my channel feeling that way either, so I’d do the same. I’ve had one kind of rude remark but everyone else has been supportive & nice on my channel 😊 so thank God. I’m loving the positive vibes 🫶

I’ve learned after years of dealing with things that I’m no longer tolerating that kind of rude/negative behavior from anyone cause my mental health has struggled for a long time and to improve it & protect others those who pose a problem will be removed and not given a second thought. They can be miserable by themselves, they not gonna drag me down with them or others. We don’t deserve it.

It used to be that mom & pop vehicle repair shops were less than the dealership but nowadays it's about the same. It's the mechanic that is really the issue. Not all people that claim they can fix cars are good at it. No offense to them but some people are just better at it as in all professions. Just be aware of the upsale and know your vehicle. Fuel injections or inductions aren't needed. Alignment most times aren't needed along with evac services. If they say the car can doesn't need it then it's not a need they just want to sell. I've gone the off brand shops and parts and found that a vehicle runs better with brand parts. But all praise goes to God because He is truly who kept my last car running 16+ years with no major issues. Although I no longer have it, it's still running.
I would say to focus on covering all necessities; bills, food, etc, and seeing what, if anything, is leftover after taking care of your needs. Whatever is leftover can go toward savings, even if it’s $5, at a time. If you don’t have money leftover after paying all necessities, you’ll either need to decrease expenses and/or increase income (side hustles). I hope this helps❤️
I know this was directed at the creator, but like they said, focus on you immediate needs first. Food, biils, gas, ECT. Next I would focus on what YNAB calls your true expenses. So things that happen every year that you know will happen. This would be like your car plate renewal, pet vaccinations, ECT. You can break them down into monthly charges for what you think they will be. So if you think your car will cost $240, save $20 a month. Even if you actually have to pay $260 it's way easier to scramble to find $20 than all the money. If you have extra, I would also try to have names emergency funds. So I stead of a miscellaneous amount of money for "emergency fund" have $600 for new tires. $120 for new shoes. $500 for the table you really want. Then whatever you need on a bare bones budget for 3-6 months of no income. I'm making it sound easy. I don't have it all figured out or anything. I watch a lot of this type of financial shows (mostly ynab, Caleb hammer, and money guys) I hope this helps though ❤
I was on the cash stuff journey and then I left my job under circumstances, so now back on job hunting and will go back to it, because I am also a student to hope pay for further education and all, PS love your videos, don't worry about the negative comments they are not happy in their life so they want you not to be either, because to them its not fair you are happy, girl do you and keep thriving. tell them naysayers kiss my ass lol., well your ass. Different cultures express themselves differently. Negative people might not mean it they may have been raised in a way where their words are not wrong. But if they've gotta go, they gotta go.
