      @@claytrader Day trading is a nice way of putting a bank runner. Bank running.
      My bank calling me up one day and asking for the balance of my car loan back is impossible. But Stocks are not loaning money. Stocks are Ponzi Scheme.
      Ponzi Scheme's nickname is rob Peter to pay Paul. 50 winners and 50 losers. You trade to try to he the 50% winners.
      Buying stocks makes the stocks go up and selling stocks makes the stocks go down.
      Buying into a Ponzi Scheme makes the scheme go up. And selling the scheme makes the scheme go down.
      And try to be the winners of the scheme.
      You are not after customer's profits.
      You are not after bringing a new product to life.
      Just bank running.

    Hey clay thank you very much. I’ve had money sitting in investments but just let them sit there. Which hasn’t hurt me. At the same rate it’s not really helping me attain my goals. These videos have helped me learn more about the stock market than what I’ve learned or had explained to me in years. It’s very commendable that you share your knowledge. Knowledge can help lead to wisdom. Having info and then using that info. So thank you very much.

    how are naked options affected by HFT activity?
    I did a paper trade on NVDA and I saw it hit past my mark of 112 all the way down to 107, but on the weekly chart it shows the lowest price only hit 112.60
    So what I'm asking is how would my naked 112 put have been affected by the few seconds/milliseconds that the price was at 107?

      That depends which market you're in. If you're in the stock market, you're trading "stocks", for example.

    What is your role in society as a day trader? Is your work essential for other people like a job of a medical doctor, mechanic, electrician, ...? What is your contribution to a better life for the whole of humankind? Are traders a necessity for a better world like scientists are?

      @@claytrader Good for granny! What do you think about this example? You hear about the severe drought in America/Russia which will kills a lot of crops. So as a trader you speculate that wheat will go up and buy it cheaply. The price goes much higher because of traders and then you sell at a higher price. Basically, you just earned money by making food expensive for other people.

    • @claytrader
      @claytrader  2 года назад +1

      @@primozlokosek5006 but if that trader is wrong, and prices keep falling (because it's not "cheap enough"... that trader will eventually be forced to sell... which will cause prices to go even further down)... so in that situation, the trader is helping to make food prices lower.... you are operating under the assumption that traders just do whatever they want with no consequences...

      @@claytrader Usually, the drought destroys the food and the price of food goes up if it is scarce - basic economics. On which principles would the price go down? The same is happening now, there is a shortage of chips, new cars are delayed and the price went up. I am sorry that out of so many traders you have to answer these questions. Thank you for your time!
