do day traders only trade in 1 stock in a day, or do they trade in like 2-3 stocks in a single day? And also: Does the day trader sell the stock at the end of the day, or does he leave it for the next day?

Ok. I see the day trading and understand it. But, how about being a multi-day trader. Maybe in weeks. Watching the stocks go up and looking at the history, I could then buy low and sell low...though the selling point would be up compared to where I started.

I was confused with the last example of the day when AAPL went up, if a day trader bought low and sold when the market when up how wouldn't they make money? As you said they would've lost.
Hi Clay what kind of capital do people invest as a day trader? I know the amount can vary, But it seems like you would need quite a large Capital, as well as knowing what you’re doing in order to make money as a day trader.
