I’m from NY born and raised (Long Island specifically) and honestly….no other place in the country does Christmas better than NY. Upstate you have more of the mountains so you can get that snowy cabin Christmas vibe, on Long Island you can get that small town Christmas village vibe, and in the city….that luxurious and extravagant Christmas vibe. We go all out for Christmas here.
Omg, could you share what location to look upstate for a cabin getaway? Will and I have wanted to visit upstate since we moved here!
@@TheLaurenNorrisone of my cousins who’s originally from Albany booked a cabin stay with Red Cottage. They have several different locations around the upstate area. She and her boyfriend chose the Hudsonshire house which is in the Hudson Valley. If you go on the website for Red Cottage and tap on the bar next to where it says “Red Cottage” just tap on “browse properties” and the first one is Catskills. As of currently you get rent it for $289 a night which for NY standards is honestly really good.

I like "While you were sleeping" with Sandra Bullock. I've liked almost every film she's been in ("Speed", "The Net"). It's not really a Christmas video per se, but it takes place during Christmas. It's on Disney+. I watch it every year. I was at the community college in the community room or whatever, they had it on. I had an hour to waste.

My favorite way to get in the holiday spirit is to decorate for Christmas and bake treats and go to different little Christmas events in the Seattle area (holiday light shows, the nutcracker, the polar express, etc)🎅🎄
