Love the tray, when I saw the sugar shakers I thought they'd look pretty in a bedroom vanity or bathroom for cotton balls, Q tips ect. I'd also take the tops off and just set it along side the shaker and use the jars for makeup brushes. 💕

Here’s a funny story with real birds nest. We had a collie. And every spring he would shed his coat. Literally like gremlins were popping off him. It was so much fun brushing him. The birds would swoop down and grab his hair to line there little nests. I would find abandoned nests later on with little pieces of Sam in them. Lol

Hello Lisa, 1st just want to tell u my daughter's name is Lisa also. Her BD is coming up on April 1st. So I thought to make her the pair of sugar dispensers I'm thinking 4 her bathroom. I just love the sea glass color and the rose color together. The tray looks so beautiful with the floral transfer. Every project here has such soft feminine colors that I love. I love each and everyone of these Diy's I love that sea glass paint from DIY . Your bird nest is so cute I brought some bed springs at a antique store I used some for my snowman at Christmas but I still have a few left so thank you for sharing that idea with all of us.

The Sea Glass paint is from Dixie Belle. But DIY makes a similar color called Apothecary.

You won’t believe this! I have the same tray only it is painted differently. It is definitely a antique , I got mine from my Aunt’s auction about thirty years ago. She had it painted or either bought it in the Virgin Islands, the painter signed it “Deby B”. Mine is painted with a medium blue background with strawberries and vines with black accents. I wish I could send you a picture of it. I always enjoy your videos. Your pieces look great. God Bless you and your family ❤️
You won’t believe it, so do I. I know mine is vintage, because I have had it some over 30 years. I love the way Lisa’s looked, but I don’t want to change mine due to sentimental reasons.

Just a suggestion, get yourself a little lazy Susan, like they use in cabinets for organizing. All you'd have to do is rotate the lazy Susan to where you need your item to be and not worry about touching the paint.

The dollartree sandpaper does work but it really is for one use only and falls apart very easily. But for $1.25 to have a pack with various grades comes in handy for small projects.
Sometimes I just need one small sliver of sandpaper so I tear it off and use a little bit.

Omg . I just love your videos! Bed springs are readily available in my area . People keep tossing mattresses out by the dumpster. A queen mattress torn gown fits inside 2 tall kitchen trash bags .

I love that sea glass color. I had that color in my room since we moved into this house(8 yrs in a couple months). I’m switching to a very soft grey/green. I still keeping pink in my room to go with the green. Lol, when we had our horses every nest had horse hair in them. I agree with you about the moss and making a nest, not natural looking at all.
I think pink goes really well with green also. I’m sure it will be beautiful ❤️🙂

I totally agree I hate the Dollar Tree sandpaper. However wish they would bring back the sanding blocks. I did love their sanding blocks but I can't find them anymore now

I bought the dollartree white glue called Dot and mixed it with water and it does work well as modpodge when I run out. It dries the same as Elmer's.

They can be hand washed but I think at that point they should be used for decor only.

My sister gave me that one. Just look up cameo clay molds. There are plenty and cheap. You can even use ones for cake fondant.

Every time I use a stamp and a sealer the ink smears from the stamp even if I wait a few days to put my sealer on. Why is this?
I use Stayzon ink. It stays well.
What is the definition of cottage for and Farmhouse and all of these other different styles
I don’t the definitions but you can either Google them or type each style into Pinterest and get a pretty good idea. I find though that they are all kind of all over the place and antiques can be incorporated in all these style. Farmhouse style is more rustic like you might see on a farm. Cottage style and Cottagecore style are a lot like Grandma decorated.
I don’t know but a farmhouse sink isn’t divided, it is just one big deep open area.
