Whitby Piers In Winter Storms - Winter 2015 / 16

Rough seas batter Whitby's ageing piers. The outer Pier extensions were built in 1913 and are now well over 100 years old. They are in much need of repair and Scarboroughb Borough Council appear reluctant to do anything with them. Some footage and photographs from 2015 and 2016.

Another great one Glenn. Take them whilst you can because if those piers don't get the much needed repairs part of Whitby will be washed away. Never under estimate the power of the sea.
