Wouldn’t the world be boring if every relationship was the same? That would also mean everyone would have to have the same personality as Jin and Hattie. Everyone is different and dates someone that works for them. There are loads of healthy relationships that have different boundaries to Jin and Hattie.
@@Charelhuisman I didn’t necessarily mean every relationship is the same but i meant that media glorifies the idea of being “toxic” in relationships especially how men should be “bad guys”, “controlling” or the guy doesn’t love you and shit, Jin and Hattie’s relationship show that if you’re in a healthy relationship there is trust and security which toxic relationships cannot provide you. Everyone has different personalities and every couple goes through different relationship problems but being toxic is not it.
And there are other relationships which are healthy and has different boundaries but i am only saying that Jin and Hattie are an example of healthy relationships and not the only healthy relationship.
Tbh finding other people attractive and especially that openly in a relationship does not exclusively scream secure and healthy. I for myself can't find strangers attractive and I also find it disrespectful to me if my partner would be drooling over others like that whilst claiming I'm his true love. It's not that I am insecure, it's that I am actually self-respecting myself.

I hate when people say us black people are being too sensitive. When using the term aggressive towards a black person means a lot of things. Now I know for a fact she didn’t mean it in a mean way and we understand that. We’re just letting her know that calling black people “aggressive” isn’t nice. Remember what happened with Serena Williams on multiple occasions? Calling her aggressive and even when they told her she was cheating. Of course she got upset but then people started making cartoons out of her in a mean way when they don’t even do that for non-blacks.
