This was really helpful and interesting information. I found the concept of borrowing colors from other seasons to be especially interesting. On a related note, it can be challenging to shop for your best colors when the Pantone color of the year and the colors designers all seem to be using that season/year don't work especially well for you. Several years ago I discovered Kettlewell Colours (which I'm sure you're aware of) and I love the fact that they have clothing colors that work for all seasons available throughout the entire year. Such a great--and needed--concept!
I agree the last two can't be universal...dark brown is sometimes too heavy on me (bright spring). I think turquoise is beautiful, but I'm not sure if it suits me, although that could be my own insecurities, as it's often worn in summer and light fabrics make me feel sort of exposed. Working on all that! Could you do a video about body insecurities, how can styling/colours help overcome those if they can? Great Chanel. xm
I think you looked great in the chocolate brown, and you said you were a winter. Maybe the chocolate brown is a universal color. Agree that pastels are not universal.
I agree except that I've never seen clothing that's truly watermelon. It all looks coral, and coral is too warm for me as a summer. Your watermelon swatch is lovely, but it's not a common clothing color. I also think gray is a cool, not universal.

It's good to know universal colors. I'm going through my closet.
Fantastic! Good luck with the edit!
Enjoyed that, learning loads.
Delighted to hear it Pamela!
But I thought gray is for cool undertones and brown is for warm skin undertones
Shimaa you can have cool and warm greys and cool and warm browns! 😊
@@sarahryanthestylecoach yes I know but you said same shade for all seasons so I m confused

I don't remember holding up underwear in this video..Was it a different video?
Great vid 😊
Thank you! Thanks for watching :)
What about burgundy or oxblood? Universal?
Hi. I think burgundy would be too dark for summers, but would be OK for the other 3 main seasons.

A greyish khaki suits a lot of people.
💛
Changes happen fast goodway
